“The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere is nice, but the servers are getting seriously screwed out of their tip potential. Since they have you close the check at the counter and the servers have no control of the table. It's a shame to be quite honest.“

“Bruno’s Cafe I don't know where to start at all. They had good coffee, amazing service, the whole staff were great. I met them at a car event they made the whole time great. “I usually always have a great experience when I’m here. Pratt street isn’t an easy place to have a restaurant and yet they’ve been doing well and keeping up with the times. With their recent renovations I feel the atmosphere is that much better.“

“We have the good fortune to work at the Pond House and Elizabeth Park typically several times a year as we are full-time wedding photographers. It is hard to find a more beautiful location if you want to mix in the gorgeous outdoors with a comfortable and stunning indoor space. We always love the well-kept and photogenic grounds, the elegant touches from the interior to the patio, and the attentive, friendly, easy-going staff who run weddings so well. The food is superb, and it It is always a pleasure to book a wedding here since it will go absolutely seamlessly in heat or cold, rain or shine. If you work in this industry you know every wedding has a mishap or two from something forgotten at home, a sudden change in the weather, the party being stuck in traffic, etc. Everyone at the Pond House rolls with the punches so well, and the venue allows us all to collectively handle this turbulence with grace. The communication is excellent with other vendors and one another. They make sure to take care of their vendors really well (which always tells me they go above and beyond for couples). I am always confident we will have a tremendous day when walking in the door. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review. I/we simple appreciate the perfect days we’ve enjoyed there. A huge thanks to the wonderful staff for all their help over the years, and here’s to timeless memories for many of weddings to come! “First timer here. The atmosphere was awesome. Sat at the bar and watched motoGP. I ordered the brisket egg rolls and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Crispy crunch, sweet, salty, umami. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.“

“Great little cafe! My husband and I love coming here for breakfast/lunch when we have a weekend off together. Its located right off the trail if you want to enjoy a walk before or after. I also love their pastries in front, they even have some delicious gluten free dessert items which are so hard to find!“
