“We are visiting the area and tried Mangetsu and I am so glad we did. It tastes authentic, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was great. I had the chicken fried rice and it was delicious, but we also ordered the chicken katsu and it was incredible. Definitely recommend!“

“This is the best sushi I've had in CT. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was really nice. The menu has great options for a good price. The service was amazing, and the owners were lovely. I couldn't finish everything so the owner packed it up with some extra wasabi, ginger, and chopsticks like we were getting takeout. We're already talking about going back with family.“

“Delicious, fresh, and well portioned! Ordered their sashimi deluxe and a few of their spicy rolls. The sashimi is fresh and tastes great. The slices are good and not overly thin like some other restaurants. The spicy rolls had a good portion of fish mixed in, vs some other restaurants that overdo the sauce mix and put a tiny bit of fish in. The only part I didn't enjoy as much was an ala carte order of scallop sashimi.. maybe it just isn't in season because it tasted bland. But everything was good enough I would definitely order again.
In town for a business trip and craved some sushi. Wasn't liking lots of the places on Uber Eats and so stumbled upon this one. Was a little bummed my hotel was 0.5 miles outside their delivery radius, then discovered they're on GrubHub as well, which allowed my delivery! And I'm glad I stuck it out! This place beats even some of my favorites back home!“

“I have been here so many times, my husband grew up around the corner and we only have great things to say about this place. Just prepare mentally and physically because all the food is going to be so good that you will need more and more space. 10/10 great service, nice environment, delicious food. “We have been loyal customers of Bonsai for years, whether we’re dining in or grabbing takeout! My wife’s go-to is the dinner bento box, and I’m a huge fan of the chicken teriyaki dinner. Everything is consistently fresh and delicious.
One thing you absolutely cannot miss is their salad with their special dressing, it is truly out of this world! Everyone I’ve recommended this place to says the exact same thing. If you're looking for quality Japanese cuisine and a spot that treats you like a regular, this is it.“

“‼️Really delicious food, I'd call it excellent! If you enjoy sushi, this is the place to go. Sometimes on the weekends the parking lot is packed full, so if you enjoy their food, it may be better to simply call ahead. However, there are a few inaccuracies on their this Facebook website. First their current hours are posted as "always open", of couse this cannot be true in the least bit. “We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“

“My boyfriend and I tried Poke Sushi in Vernon tonight! We ordered the California roll, the veggie roll, and the shrimp tempura roll with mango added. The rolls were made immediately as we started paying for our food. It was neat to watch them being made. When we sat down to eat; they were amazing! The ingredients were VERY fresh! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!! We scarfed down the rolls and forgot to take a picture 😂“
