“My friends and I went here for some lunch. The food was delicious and pretty quick to come out. The only downside was the waitress took a bit to take our order, and was pushing the “regular” portioned meals over the lunch portions which of course cost more. The lunch portions seemed more than adequate to me. We had a great time regardless“

“Very lovely place to eat with absolutely amazing sushi. I’ve eaten there plenty of times and before my grandmother passed, her and I used to always get take-out. I still love the place a lot. I definitely recommend trying it more than once though, since some of their dishes are better than others.“

“My husband and I’s favorite Chinese spot! This was also my Grandma’s favorite Chinese spot as well- we have been coming here for a long time. We always love coming here for dinner to enjoy the crab Rangoon, wonton soup & boneless spare rib combo. The Ginger root staff are always so welcoming, attentive and friendly.“

“I went there today and my boyfriend and I enjoyed every bite of everything we ordered. salad was fresh, miso soup was tasty, steak and shrimp hibachi was sooooo good. the coconut shrimp was nice and fresh and crunchy. the scorpion bowl was perfect. all we needed was one and we was feeling nice. we was impressed with the cheap prices. with 67$ we both had a hibachi entree and appetizer soup , salad and a scorpion bowl for 2..... then we got a tuna mango sushi roll on the house... ❤️ You need to go and try for yourself.“

“Was craving sushi and Higashi delivered some delicious sushi. I ordered the cucumber roll and red dragon roll, fantastic. Miso soup and peppered steak was also good. To top it all off with dessert, the cheesecake was delicious also. Would have taken pics, but I was hungry. Spent about $50 even just for myself. Definitely recommend“

“Its not as fancy as a lot of other Japanese restaurants but the food is as good or in most cases better than any other Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Very reasonable prices. Even the quality of their green tea ice cream is superior. The staff is always friendly and ready to please. Plenty of free and convenient parking.“

“Found this gem when using Google to find a nearby sushi restaurant. Very nice staff, friendly and fast service. Food was very good. The kimchi tofu soup was a pleasant surprise to try, will definitely be getting that again. I love Boba tea, didn't dissapoint. Had the spring rolls for appetizer, crispy and flavorful. Tried our favorite classics spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, very happy with our experience. will be coming back. Don't forget your Sake!“

“Man, I remember when this food court used to be packed with customers and businesses during lunch. Now it’s down to 2 spots for grub. Either way, destroyed the Spicy Salmon bowl with brown rice. It was really good. If you’re looking for a good space to enjoy good food and be left alone to read or whatevs, this is a good space for that. For now.“

The bowl brings me back memories of when I first had a pokebowl.

The portions were generous, and all the mix-ins and proteins were thoroughly mixed with the sauces instead of the past few times where they just squirted sauces on top.

I would have to say if this is not under ownership, whoever made my bowl around 12:45pm on 7/1/25 should get a well deserved praise.

I have given up on Pokemoto on middletown and decided to order here on a whim but pleasantly surprised the change in quality (for good)

Definitely ordering more if this is the new standard.“

“We stopped in on a whim because my boyfriend knows I love sushi. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean and the food was PHENOMENAL. I had the chicken pad Thai and a few sushi rolls, he had chicken and steak hibachi and boneless spare ribs. It was hands down the best sushi I have had in the area and the best pad Thai I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back!!“

Occasionally it’s a lil loud but that’s to be expected when a restaurant has great food & service, you want those tables packed. The prices are pretty good, the staff is always accommodating, respectful, & friendly, even if you have a to go order or deliver. They’re so helpful & kind, truly one of my favorite spots in CT!“

“Great food and quick delivery!! Odd that they’re closed every Tuesday but I think it’s family run so I’m sure they need days off. I always get General Tso Chicken (extra crispy) and/or beef lo mein without vegetables. There both phenomenal, my girlfriend loves the Wonton Soup. Fast Delivery too. My fiancé Jackie always order large white rice and large wonton soup. She has sever peanut sesame and tree nut allergies, and they are accommodating each time we tell them!“

“I’ve been to this location (Manchester) only a couple times, and I’m already hooked. The food is great, and worth the price for the amount (which is something I care about when ordering food anywhere).

The staff are so great, and I can just tell how hard they work to keep up with everything. They’re kind, patient, and knowledgeable of their products. The establishment is so clean, and I’ve had no negative customer service interactions.

Though the advertising team for this company as a whole is very creative, and are able to make me laugh with their menu and other ads, I will continue to return to Teriyaki Madness because of their staff.

“The food was good. Had alot of variety and the General Tso's chicken wasn't gummy or overly sweet. The hot and sour soup was light and not gelatinous. They had a larger variety of non Chinese food items such as roast beef, ham, pork chops, linguine and crayfish. Even their pizza wasn't the typical buffet pizza ( it wasn't very good but worlds better than the typical buffet pizza ). The only complaint i have was that they didn't have pot stickers and hot pepper oil and they didn't have as many desert offerings. A good value and surprisingly better quality food. They had some battered chicken that was similar to tansuyuk with a sweet, crispy batter that was very good.“
