“I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

“Food is healthy, customizable and delicious. I do think it’s a little pricey for an everyday lunch, but I do like getting it as a treat. I’ve been trying to eat heart healthy and this place makes it really easy! Plus if you order ahead, the food is always ready on time.“

“We are good customers that come to the Rocky Hill Salad bar at least a couple times per week. The staff is wonderful, the service is wonderful and most days, the burritos are delicious. Our issue is with consistency. We took off one star on the service because of the lack of consistency. We go for the fresh food served daily. However, when it comes to the "building of the burritos" we can usually tell who has made the burrito because today, for instance, it was so skimpy, I question about going back because it makes us so mad when we get these barely filled burritos. I want to say, the majority of the time, we praise this place, we highly recommend them, because the food is so fresh and tasty and USUALLY, the burritos are bursting at the seams. It all depends on who makes your meal. Today's burritos (all of them) were extremely skimpy. For the amount of money we spent, we don't expect to end up hungry after eating our meal. Like I said, normally we are very satisfied, but someone there (according to all of us) that is known for skimping on the meal. Today was that day. We were all dissatisfied with our burritos. The picture shows the middle of a meat burrito that is suppose to have meat in it, but you can barely see a drop of meat. Normally it's big and fat, today it was like eating a flat lettuce and tomato sandwich.“

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. “Ajamo is a solid lunch spot in Hartford. I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.“

“We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. Love this place - prefer to Chipotle which does not have fresh cilantro as an option and does not ensure the restaurant is clean & well-managed. “The Natural Orange Juice was very fresh and full of flavor. It was noticeable that the oranges were very fresh and the juice was very pure. I also tried the banana shake which was very delicious.

“Your standard Panera, if you've seen one you've seen most, and thats a good thing. Food was good, bread was fresh, soda options were decent. Food came out pretty quickly.

Kid-friendliness: Panera is definitely kid friendly, with booths and high chairs to make it easy. Kids menu makes it simple to order, although my kids will go through a full sized mac and cheese with no problem.“
