“I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

“Food is healthy, customizable and delicious. I do think it’s a little pricey for an everyday lunch, but I do like getting it as a treat. I’ve been trying to eat heart healthy and this place makes it really easy! Plus if you order ahead, the food is always ready on time.“

The cafe is clean and bright, yet the temperature in the dining area was a bit cold for the season, as it's mid-December. Overall, I'm satisfied and will return many more times!“

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

“Ajamo is a solid lunch spot in Hartford. I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.“

The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. The grilled chicken & baja chicken were both good. The guac was fresh. The included chips & salsa were a bonus. Love this place - prefer to Chipotle which does not have fresh cilantro as an option and does not ensure the restaurant is clean & well-managed. The pico de gallo was low, but there was just enough for my salad. I look forward to eating here again.“

“The Natural Orange Juice was very fresh and full of flavor. It was noticeable that the oranges were very fresh and the juice was very pure. I also tried the banana shake which was very delicious.

I loved the chicken salad dish, it was a delicious combination of fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked chicken.“

Moved into the scallop dinner and wife had a pasta dish oh and the homemade soup then dessert all food was incredible can’t say enough good about this place“

Jazzmalie brought our order to us in the drive thru line, read through our entire order to make sure they got everything, gave us wet wipes (so thoughtful!), and even grabbed some extra salt packets for us when we asked. “I hadn't been to Gillette State Park in years. Decided to visit pn way home from casino. I was so surprised. They really have expanded the park buildings. To include a gift shop and museum. They also offer tours of the castle....they end at 4. The grounds and paths were lovely. I reccomend s revisit. They still have some charcoal grills that you can use to picnic! Underappreciated park....its very nice.“

“Your standard Panera, if you've seen one you've seen most, and thats a good thing. Food was good, bread was fresh, soda options were decent. Food came out pretty quickly.

Parking: Standard lot, very easy to park

Kid-friendliness: Panera is definitely kid friendly, with booths and high chairs to make it easy. Kids menu makes it simple to order, although my kids will go through a full sized mac and cheese with no problem.“
