I arrived to retrieve my food and was so enraptured by the atmosphere of the restaurant that I asked, “Would it be permissible if I ate here?” I was granted this honor and allowed to choose my own table. Typically, a meal like this might last ten to fifteen minutes, but on this day I sat and savored my meal for hours, ordering additional food. Another culture’s story gradually unfolded with each new exotic dish that was prepared. As the night wore on and the smell of rare spices filled the air, I questioned this reality, finally giving in just as one would whilst riding a wild horse. Euphoria rose and receded in waves until my mortal attachments began to fall away. One singular thing remained: my love for Lorraine.

That morning I watched the sun rise. Sitting on the roof of my car, the rays of a new day carried with them an assurance I could not ignore and I knew, without a doubt, I was a changed man.

“The food and service are always outstanding! Today, I couldn’t decide on Kung Pao Chicken or General Tso’s Chicken, ( I love them both). The nice gentleman said “Go with Kung Pao Chicken”, he knows I like it spicy. Always eat in there once or twice a month with my mom. The dining area is no frills, but they definitely give good service, delicious food and large portions. Highly recommended!“
