“Visiting Greenwich with my lady and she took me to me of her local joints that she grew up going to and I loved it! It’s the type of hometown place that we all love, but seem to be disappearing. Shuffle board, beers, some bomb pizza & great conversations. I’d be a regular if I lived in town.

“Love it here! On the weekends it is always buzzing, great vibes & perfect night out atmosphere. Food is consistently delicious, pasta, salads, apps all so good! Some favorites are the arugula salad, charred peppers, focaccia & literally all of the pastas. The Chiquita & La Passione drinks are like nothing I’ve had anywhere else - so delicious & innovative. For dessert get a Nutella donut - divine. One of my fave places!“

“I was with some friends for a bit of a reunion. I honestly did not know what to expect from Haven but all I can say is that it is a wonderful, friendly and cozy place. The lite bites were all tasty, but the tap list, the whisky...and whiskey list were outstanding, but the cocktails...oh my! Everyone in our party thought the cocktails were truly outstanding, different, and creative. And priced fairly. I have paid more at several places for cocktails that were nowhere as good as at Haven. The owners are delightful and made us feel at home and next time I find myself in Port Chester, forget anywhere else...I know where I am going. Thanks Haven!“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

“The only reason I am giving it four stars is because my food came out about 5 mins before my husband's and it wasn't busy....Other than that....I got the BEC and it was hot and delicious...my hubby got the chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it. Having the ability to try different beers(with a large selection)is great! The atmosphere was mellow but it was on a Sunday and they do offer a brunch menu. Definitely a place to try“

“Found this place browsing for "pool table bar". Found this little gem. Has a nice pool table and other games. It is located on a quiet street in downtown stamford. Medium size and has an open area patio in the back. Overall a nice quiet bar. Ordered food which was way better than what I had expected, actually very good. Will go back for the calamaris and freshly cut homemade french fries.“

“Friendly neighborhood bar in Larchmont, NY with good bartenders and a good jukebox and friendly patrons. Recommend. I like to play my favorite Jambands and classic rock/reggae on the jukebox such as Grateful Dead, Dylan, Widespread Panic, Moe., CCR, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Kansas, Tesla etc.“

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“Love this local place! Always impressed with what comes out and the food is always better than I remember it. (Blackened fish tacos appetizer is my favorite - more of an entree than an appetizer -a very filling meal.) Phillip is an attentive bartender who remembers you and takes care of you.

Now imagine that bar was plucked right out of that place and put in the middle of Rye. That's The Pub. It's a hole-in-the-wall dive bar that's perfectly out of place in Rye. The bartender has a heavy hand, the drinks are cheap, and it's the ideal location to catch up with an old friend.“

There’s a whole separate area away from the main bar where you can let the kids loose (not literally… unless you’re into that). Tons of games: darts, table games, and enough fun to keep everyone entertained while you sip on a perfectly poured Guinness. The food? Ridiculously good. Wings and burgers hit the spot, and my husband swears by the Reuben-it’s basically his soulmate. Just don’t expect fine china here. Everything comes on paper plates, because the food’s too good to waste time on dishes. Bonus: the owners are the kind of people you’d want to have a beer with-friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly doing it right. “Bar attached to the Sonesta White Plains hotel. Limited option for drinks and food, but they are nominally priced when compared to other restaurants nearby. I had steak, it was perfectly cooked and sumptuous. And had egg benedict for breakfast, all tastes good.“

“Just wanted to thank you for serving the most tender (cut with a fork) and flavorful Berkshire pork chop I have had the pleasure of eating. This compliment on your quality and preparation is unequivocal as I have eaten pork chops in more than 200 restaurants throughout the USA, Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, Spain and France. My absolute favorite brined pork chop is served at Castelli’s Ristorante in Palm Desert CA. Inasmuch as my brother lives in Stamford I will be back. BTW my wife’s Braised Short Ribs were melt in your mouth as well. A great big thank you and hat’s off to the culinary team.“

“As a gay man this place is awesome. The ladies are super respectful of the fact that you are there for a dance. If you want to watch sports they have great TV coverage. Also the DJ has a great playlist going, and the acoustics are great like your ears won't bleed. The bathroom is antique. Generally they are not pushy. This is not the strip club to avoid but the club to support as they have some respect.“
