The food is delicious, the service is speedy, and the variety of breakfast plates, sandwiches, lunch salads, sandwiches is just above and beyond. Every craving I could possibly have is satisfied here and the price tag is what kept me! In this area, it’s hard finding quality food, with taste all for under $20. At Makerie? You absolutely can. “Corbo's Corner Deli West came highly recommended for a professional learning training I was coordinating, and they did not disappoint. I worked directly with John and cannot emphasize enough how seamless and easy the entire process was. I trusted his extensive knowledge and expertise to choose the menu, and he did an amazing job. Even when I had to make a few adjustments the day before our large group order, the level of service remained exceptional.

The meals were delicious and a definite hit with our participants. Everything was delivered on time and exactly as requested. I truly enjoyed working with them and would absolutely recommend Corbo’s to anyone planning an event or large group order.

“Great little store with everything you need. Fantastic assortment of spices, preserves, picked veggies, candy and so much more. They have daily fresh hot foods and cold salads. Anytime I buy olivye salad it’s always fresh! Delicious and you don’t have to spend all this time to cut it yourself at home. They have great variety of kielbasas and other cold deli meats. Anytime I ask for recommendation or buyers feedback they always recommend good stuff. My favorite store!“

“This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

My friends and I cycle all over Stamford, New Canaan, Pound Ridge, Darien, and more …and about half the time they insist that we stop at “mother‘s” (as they call it) before we head to our respective homes. We always get rolls with egg, cheese, broccoli rabe, and bacon …and pancakes …and coffee and it’s definitely heaven.

They don’t offer seating inside the place, its ok the quality and flavor of the food really compensates.During summer or warm days they have some outside seating, perfect to slow down and just enjoy the little water fountain.It has customer parking and there is always street parking available.They only take cash but they do have a ATM machine.I usually get the three eggs, bacon and homemade potatoes. I also hear great things about their bacon, eggs and cheese rolls.“

I am a Polish American and we try and keep some Polish traditions alive, like Wigilia. We also love fresh kielbasa and perogies year-round. Being originally from Yonkers, NY I grew up used to REAL Polish food from a REAL Polish Deli. And if you’ve only gotten your kielbasa and perogies from Stop and Shop, then you’ve never had REAL Polish perogies and kielbasa. Get them from here and you’ll know what I mean.

I do not speak polish. And I have tried may of the other Polish deli’s around. I always enter with a “dzień dobry” which is good afternoon in Polish, and 85% of my Polish vocabulary. For reasons I can not understand, once all these other delis learn you don’t speak Polish you immediately become a second class citizen, and there is no hope of getting any help or explanations on all the wonderful variety of foods available. But not at Warsaw Deli. The new owner, Jan, was incredibly helpful. He even took the time to explain a few traditions I wasn’t aware of.

Even if you aren’t Polish go here, and try something new. Just ask Jan what to try!“

In terms of price I’m not sure why people are complaining, everywhere is dealing with inflation. Prices will never be what they were 5 years ago. The cold cuts are the real deal and Ricky makes several daily. if you are from Port Chester, Marini's is a staple, a must go to deli. Rickie, Angel and the crew serve up great lunches, several hot selections a day. They cater all events, and the prices are right.“
