The food is delicious, the service is speedy, and the variety of breakfast plates, sandwiches, lunch salads, sandwiches is just above and beyond. Every craving I could possibly have is satisfied here and the price tag is what kept me! In this area, it’s hard finding quality food, with taste all for under $20. At Makerie? You absolutely can. “Great little spot to grab breakfast.The place has one entrance, you walk in a semi-circle to place your order and you are out. They don’t offer seating inside the place, its ok the quality and flavor of the food really compensates.During summer or warm days they have some outside seating, perfect to slow down and just enjoy the little water fountain.It has customer parking and there is always street parking available.They only take cash but they do have a ATM machine.I usually get the three eggs, bacon and homemade potatoes. I also hear great things about their bacon, eggs and cheese rolls.“

“This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

The cold cuts are the real deal and Ricky makes several daily. if you are from Port Chester, Marini's is a staple, a must go to deli. I am a Polish American and we try and keep some Polish traditions alive, like Wigilia. We also love fresh kielbasa and perogies year-round. Being originally from Yonkers, NY I grew up used to REAL Polish food from a REAL Polish Deli. And if you’ve only gotten your kielbasa and perogies from Stop and Shop, then you’ve never had REAL Polish perogies and kielbasa. Get them from here and you’ll know what I mean.

I do not speak polish. And I have tried may of the other Polish deli’s around. I always enter with a “dzień dobry” which is good afternoon in Polish, and 85% of my Polish vocabulary. For reasons I can not understand, once all these other delis learn you don’t speak Polish you immediately become a second class citizen, and there is no hope of getting any help or explanations on all the wonderful variety of foods available. But not at Warsaw Deli. The new owner, Jan, was incredibly helpful. He even took the time to explain a few traditions I wasn’t aware of.

Even if you aren’t Polish go here, and try something new. Just ask Jan what to try!“

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Cosmos Delicatessen, and let me tell you—it’s a true gem. My first encounter there was rather unconventional. Four days ago, I found myself sitting in their outdoor seating area, casually indulging in Dunkin' coffee and donuts. Not exactly polite, I know, but the owner was all smiles and didn’t mind at all—a testament to the warm and welcoming vibe of this place.

The very next day, I decided to make amends by diving into their offerings. I grabbed a breakfast sandwich that was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly crafted, flavorful, and satisfying. I also picked up some Italian danishes to bring home for friends in Maryland, which turned out to be a massive hit.

The day after that, Terry swung by to grab some candy gifts for our Crisfield neighbors, and once again, Cosmos delivered. Their selection of Italian treats and gifts is second to none, showcasing everything from authentic deli fare to unique, high-quality goodies you won’t find elsewhere.

Beyond the fantastic food and products, the staff deserves a special mention. They’re friendly, attentive, and make every visit a pleasure. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite, stocking up on treats, or looking for the perfect gift, Cosmos Delicatessen is an absolute must-visit. I ordered a chicken cutlet (My go-to deli sandwich) on a wedge with cheese, tomatoes and ketchup and mayo. First things first: they made a QUALITY QUALITY sandwich. The cutlet has a nice crisp to it, and was not dry but juicy. The breading was not overwhelming but just right. The cheese, bacon , tomato all meshed well. Nothing was too loose or too messy.
