“We ordered from this place on New Year’s day, literally because we just moved into a new place near by this Chinese Restaurant and our old place was closed… so we Googled what was near us and tried it. So I ordered online, and called the restaurant to make sure they received the order. The manager had to check but called me back and was very happy and nice over the phone. I am a restaurant worker too, so I left an online note that I’d be tipping $10 in cash and Happy New Year! The driver was super kind and smiley. So far.. so good. Me, my son and my dad are pretty picky about or Chinese and boy did China Express … IMPRESS! We tasted every item of each other’s complimenting the freshness, attention to detail, portion size, ease of ordering and of course the taste was phenomenal. To be honest— the best Chinese food we’ve had in this area. For the cost, and kindness— it was such a great New Years treat. I hope you all enjoy!“

“Today was our first time ordering. Our food was ready for pick up in under 15 minutes! The staff was very kind.The soup had a generous amount of wontons. They were delicious. The boneless spare ribs were savory and tender. The pork fried rice was good but could have used more vegetables and pork. But all in all it was delicious combined with the boneless spare ribs. We also did a side of wings. They were nice and crunchy. We’ll def be back to try more items.“

“This is my family's goto spot for Chinese. I love noodles and general TSOs. Wife likes pork fried rice and sweet sour chicken. We've tried many places in Groton and this one ranks #1 in our eyes for taste.

I had the exact opposite response from some other reviews. I ordered chow mein or lo mein from other places, and I received what looked like a white soup with vegetables, looked like i needed to use a spoon for.. Bamboo House provides noodles with a sauce over then and whatever meat you asked for. I could twirl it with a fork, it's what I wanted.

I don't know much else about the menu, I've tried the fried dumplings. I'm use to getting like an oyster sauce with them but most places around here send them with soy sauce.

Overall I think they are awesome.“
