“We love stopping in Oh Fudge! The front room is filled to the brim with handmade chocolates and fudge among other sweet treats. We visited before Easter and couldn't believe the unique molded chocolates, wrapped beautifully ready to gift. The freezer was stocked with gorgeously decorated ice cream cakes. Of course we had to each get scoops of their Big Dipper ice cream and with a big family we get a pretty big selection to sample. Each flavor we had was rich and flavorful and served to us so patiently. We look forward to our next trip.“

“The new and improved menu is amazing! My husband and I had a variety of items. You need to try the loaded fries and the hush puppies with honey butter. The food was amazing. They have items you can’t find anywhere else. We also had the lobster melt and the cold lobster roll both were packed with delicious lobster meat! Must stop and try. Food and staff were amazing“

“Ice cream shop at a crossroads. When we came we could only order at the window. The inside was not accessible. We ordered a soft serve twist; chocolate and vanilla, and a cup with two scoops pistachio with almonds and coffee. Outside is plenty of seating on park benches and chairs overlooking a small pond with a water fountain. Ice cream is good and a relax spot to sit down after visiting the outlets.“

“Delicious homemade ice cream! I tried dark chocolate raspberry and mint chocolate chip both were very rich in flavor. They also have dairy free and Italian ice. Pricing overall was fairly standard. Staff was friendly. Both me and my friend enjoyed our ice cream. I came in the winter I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer. I will definitely be back here. One of my new favorite ice cream places!“

“The egg sandwiches are the absolute best!! I can't get a better one anywhere, and I have searched. The bacon is excellent. I love that you can get the thus sandwich all day. That's a place that knows people like breakfast for dinner. The breakfast potatoes are great too. I dip them in the garlic aoli sauce. Two thumbs up for thus place.“

“There’s such a variety of yummy treats at Essex Chocolates! I always find something to enjoy for myself or a gift to buy for a special occasion. They have a nice range of items from homemade to name brands to novelty. The handicap entrance is next to Scotch Plains Tavern; the entrance just outside the chocolate shop has a few steps. Plenty of parking on both sides. Check out the local handmade gifts or just stop in for a beverage or ice cream!“

“I was so excited to go to Sweet P's during our trip to Essex, especially after hearing they use Ashley's ice cream! We were greeted so kindly! I ordered lemon graham and salted caramel on a waffle cone. Both flavors were amazing, but man, was that lemon something special! We really enjoyed everything! “I love this place, or actually I did. Yesterday my friends and I decided to head out for some celebratory boba at our favorite place, which is here. When we got in they said that they needed an hour to prepare the tapioca pearls so we took some of the kids that were with us to get them rolled ice cream from the place next door. We headed back to here and ordered our usual drinks and waited patiently, which wasn't long because they are really quick with orders and we appreciate that. However, one of our friends ordered a drink and it came in a bit messed up. My friend wasn't happy and let the people know. They simply said just mix it, which my friend did. When she asked if they can fix it, they said no. So she asked for a refund and they refused. My friend was devastated.EDIT- Thanks for the reply, just to let you know, we do love your small business a ton and have recommended it to almost all our other friends. That one event was sad, however we still enjoy the place.“

“Nicely renovated. I stop here on my way back from Middletown most times. The only thing I would prefer is the option to pick up mobile orders through the drive thru. I go to the vet in Middletown every 6 months minimum and place a mobile order when I leave to pick up on the way back. Because I have to go inside to pick it up I end up leaving my ferret in the car, locking the doors, and remote starting from outside the car so he is safe and comfortable for the few minutes it takes me to run inside.Parking: Decent number of spots along the front of the building.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu, burgers and ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spots right in front of the door with access to the sidewalk. The doors are a little heavy and large which might cause difficulty.“
