“We love stopping in Oh Fudge! The front room is filled to the brim with handmade chocolates and fudge among other sweet treats. We visited before Easter and couldn't believe the unique molded chocolates, wrapped beautifully ready to gift. The freezer was stocked with gorgeously decorated ice cream cakes. Of course we had to each get scoops of their Big Dipper ice cream and with a big family we get a pretty big selection to sample. Each flavor we had was rich and flavorful and served to us so patiently. We look forward to our next trip.“

I pulled off the interstate while traveling to eat lunch at the Brownstone House of Guilford.

As I was leaving, what do I see directly in front of me? You guessed it, ice cream!

And no self-respecting foodie is going to ignore that gastronomical sign of the heavens, right?

Wonderful flavors, I had mint chip in a waffle cone, and an assortment of many other sweet concoctions.

They also make ice cream cakes that are holiday and season themed. I hear that Halloween time is especially enchanting.

“I had some business to attend to in the area and didn't want to stay in a mediocre motel. The James Pharmacy was absolutely perfect! Monica was our liaison, and she was absolutely fabulous. Everything we needed was tended to. The rooms are beautiful. The restaurant downstairs, everything you would want. It is well appointed, clean, and quiet. The only thing I would warn is that the stairs are pretty treacherous. It would be very difficult if you have mobility her balance issues. I would 100% recommend people stay here.“

“This is in response to a complaint that we saw below. To start, the owner should commend his staff for their professionalism and courtesy in handling a difficult and rude customer from the wait staff to the manager. We were present as the incident unfolded. Gentleman rudely approached the staff with a complaint about his meal. Staff immediately went in the back to get a manager. Manager approached the customer. She asked the problem. He informed her. She asked for his receipt. Without hesitation she opened the register and counted out his refund. A coworker reminded her of the policy to get the name and phone number for refunds. The manager requested the information from the customer. He became agitated and tried to rip the funds from her hand. She again asked him to please provide the information. He asked why. She explained that when the registers were cashed out at night things needed to balance. She explained shortages came out of tips and it gave owners a way to contact customers to resolve complaints. It is common practice in all restaurant and retail establishments that when cash is disbursed from a register name and phone number are required. The man appeared to scribble something on the paper. As he exited he mumbled what sounded like an exploitive and yelled to the manager that he gave a phony name and number. A staff member open the serving container and unwrapped the burger. The burger was totally intact. it had never been sampled or bitten into. I repeat the staff was courteous and professional in handling this incident. I have been going there for years and would recommend it highly.The staff is exceptional. During Covid this establishment was one of the few that made arrangements to continue to service the shoreline. GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS!!!“

The service manager was very understanding and made it work as advertised then explained I don't have to use coupons in app and they can be used in store also!

Parking: During the summer season, parking is free for Madison residents only during the day. Evenings parking is free to the public.

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere and experience for the kids. Playground is right next door too.“
