“I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“Food was wonderful and fresh! Staff were so friendly and kind. We have been looking for a new local place for a while and are so happy we found New Star. My husband isn't a huge fan of Chinese food but even he loved it! We got Rangoons, chicken fingers (amazing!!!), steamed dumplings (delicious), honey chicken combo, kung po combo, chicken wings, steamed broccoli, and egg and spring rolls (for four adults) - serving sizes are enormous and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! We will be back!“

“The food was very good but the egg rolls were way over cooked. Sweet and sour pork and roasted pork with vegetables was good. Even though the egg rolls were dry and overcooked, the rice was actually good. It's the first time ever that any chinese restaurant actually cooked the rice soft and it had onion, pork and carrots in it. All other places the rice is hard and nothing in it. So, the food was great but they need to not fry the egg rolls to a dry inside to dark and crispy on the outside. We will be ordering from here again.“

“Okay so I had to come back and revise my review. I usually wouldn’t take the time to do this, but I have to say that Golden China has improved their quality of food since I left my review 10 or more years ago. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout last week and everything we got was honestly really delicious. The General Tso Had just the right combination of sweet and spicy and was crunchy and not soggy. The rice was pretty good and the eggrolls were also pretty delicious. These guys are very efficient , accurate, and effective at their job. I usually travel to other towns to get takeout but now I am happy to be able to rely on Golden China!!! Thank you 🙏“
