“Typical bar/restaurant with rustic decor and limited seating. Pizzas are typical New Haven style. The specialty pizzas are unique and tasty. We ordered 3 large, with two of them half-n-half. The waitress made a mistake on one. So, although we agreed to eat it rather than wait for the correct one, it wasn't what we wanted. Not saying it wasn't good, just not what we wanted. No harm, no foul.“

“Bartenders are messy, unorganized, and rude. They have lost bank cards, and given people the wrong cards back. They have no serving strategy to make sure all customers have been served, they kinda just look up and go to whoever happend to be across from them instead of making rounds around the bar. Very unprofessional. 5 stars just so this reaches and maybe makes a difference. Really truly enjoy the place otherwise but these bartenders ain’t it.“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! Thank again y’all for making us feel welcome!! ♥️♥️June and Jim Charleston, SC!“

“I have been going to Franks on and off for 15 years. (My father used to lived above the bad in the 1970s but that is a story for another time). This place is quiet and quick service. The staff is also appealing to the eye. I highly recommend.“

“The best wings within 50 miles, and it’s not even close. Incredibly crispy, tender, and not an overwhelming amount of sauce. There are sauce options for anyone - around 20 different options.
A MUST for wings and tenders in the area. Happy hour is 4-6pm M-F.“

“Everyone needs to try the Skillet Burrito ASAP! It’s new on the menu, all I needed to see in the description was SMOTHERED IN QUESO lol it was the most delicious burrito I have ever eaten. “So it's a bit of a throwback to roadside bars of the 80sSimple sparse seating. Large ish u shaped bar to one side. Several TVs but most of the space is dedicated to a dance floor for live music.The service was ok,the food was above average well made but uninspired. A basic quick bite or stop for a drink that is well priced but simple.“

“A neighborhood spot that is often quiet but has its busy nights. Good drinks, good prices, and really good food for a bar. Mixed crowd but of the older persuasion. Wouldn't recommend for a very young crowd. Definitely 30 and older. Avoid Monday nights though. There is one bartender who only cares about tips and never about good service.“
“I tried the garlic parmesan chicken tenders, yum! My co-workers got an Italian Grinder, but for the faint of heart. it was HUGE! and my other did the Chicken Cesar Wrap again HUGE! Very friendly staff!“

“My experience at the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I believe our servers name was Veronica, and she was wonderful and very attentive to us. We both customized our meals to some extent and everything came perfectly prepared and delicious. The server appeared at the table at just the right time and not too often so we had privacy, but always had excellent service. The view of course from this restaurant is just beautiful of the Connecticut river even in the winter. Martha's decorations are spectacular as always, and McKenzie Stevens pastries are absolutely beyond amazing. Thank you for a wonderful service and a wonderful experience!“

“By far and large the worst chillis location I have ever been to. We have given this location multiple tries and every time we are disappointed. Not once but twice have left without being served after being quoted a 10 minute wait and waiting well over 30 minutes. If you can happen to get sat the food is decent although tonight even the food was cold.“

“Food was delicious! Chicken bacon ranch nachos. I forgot what the salad was called but is was good. The dressing is very delicious. And Reese pie! Jordan is a great server! Great personality, friendly and attentive! Thanks Jordan. We don’t live in the area but glad we stopped by. 😊“
