“Went to have drinks but we’re not allowed a table unless each member of our party purchased an entire. We wanted an appetizer. We had to clear our own table in order to eat our appetizer and have our drinks. The hostess was so rude. Luckily another waitress came over to us and was very kind with recommendations on how to enjoy the rest of our night there. There was a dj and dancers and we enjoyed the rest of our night.“

“We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm without reservations and were seated immediately (Thursday night in late April). The dining area faced the waterfront, looking clean and classic. Service was fast, courteous, professional and friendly, attentive without being smothering. We ordered bread which is made on site, warm and delicious; entrees included the Seafood Squid Ink Pasta and a glazed salmon and black bean risotto special. Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Portion size was good. Coffee was a little bitter; i usually take it black but found myself wishing for some sugar. Desserts were carrot cake and creme brulee which were ok. The small parking lot was full, but we found street parking. Prices were medium high, ok for a special evening out.“

“Our waiter, Brian, who was also the hostess and bus boy at the time, was amazing! He was helpful, took his time explaining the menu with us and one of the best waiters we've had. The calamari was hot and delicious, and my fish tacos were delicious. We would certainly go back if we are ever in the area, so hats off to the chef and Brian. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience!“

“Fantastic Mexican restaurant. Good vibes and good music. There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area. We came for lunch on a Wednesday and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Although a little pricey, the food was amazing. Highly recommend the chips & salsa or the guacamole & salsa. Limited street parking.“

“One of the most intimate lounges I’ve ever been to! Such a great vibe with unique dishes that have a southeast Asian flare. They have an amazing cocktail program as well. The staff was friendly and attentive during our time there. There aren’t many places like this in CT, let alone New London! A great spot for a date night or to come see the live music they offer on the weekends.“

“We were there around 8 p.m., so only had appetizers, salad, and a dessert. I had the falafel and hummus appetizer plate, the watermelon, blueberry and escarole salad, and the lemon mousse. All delish. My companion had the calamari appetizer, the same salad, and the carrot cake for dessert. A great late evening meal, very filling. Everything was great, the service was awesome, and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained.Second review: 4/2024:My companion and I split a hanger steak appetizer with portobello and gorgonzola with aioli. Unsure of a couple things with this dish. First of all, the portobello mushrooms were chopped small and there was a lot more chopped onion than mushrooms. When the menu says portobello mushroom, you imagine a mushroom cap, not scant chopped mushrooms. Second the aioli was a sauce, not the expected mayo kind of aioli. There was the steak, which was cooked to order and that was tasty. We also had the burger and fries. The fries were nicely crisped. However the brioche roll was so soggy, we had to request another one, as it was not good.So for this trip we were disappointed. The wait staff was great.“

“Unbelievably fantastic brunch! We went here today to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and everything about the brunch was amazing. The pastries, the doughnuts, the desserts!! The seating area is beautiful and is warm. Service was great. Well worth the money and a great way to celebrate any occasion or treat yourself.“
