So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery. You will find one of the owners always there and chatting with the customers about their day and their families. Walking into this bakery is like walking into a bakery in Portugal. “Usually this is our go to bakery for birthday cakes and event cakes . Our favorite go to is typically vanilla with whip cream and pudding filling with fruit inside. I decided to come here for my sons first birthday cake and I requested that we did “dancing fruit” aka Hey bear youtube baby sensory cake with chocolate mouse flavor. Not only was it delicious but it was absolutely adorable and beautiful!! Words can not describe how happy and excited everyone was with this cake including my 1year old son. There were plenty of whimsical paintings that covered the walls, depicting "bagel people" and small town shops and scenes. Bagel was fresh. I had multigrain with hummus, and it wasn't busy on a weekday after lunch.“

There are so many varieties I can't remember them all. Some have a sugar frosting. I eat them like that but they go great with a beer or a glass of wine.“
