I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices, sarah helped me, and she was absolutely wonderful, so pleasant, patient, and full of energy. She made the whole experience much easier for me. The pastries themselves were fine, though nothing exceptional, but I would gladly return just for the excellent customer service. It’s rare to find someone so kind and attentive these days.“

“ventured out to try some of the stephen king specials and they did not disappoint! plus, the staff was absolutely amazing. when i asked for no cold foam she asked if i would prefer a DF option which was SO thoughtful. most cafe’s refuse to make a non-dairy cold foam when asked, and she offered it without hesitation. the baked goods were absolutely delicious, i wish we could’ve had them all!“

“Harpo’s Bakery, is an unassuming little bakery in South Glastonbury. The woman behind the counter, assuming the owner (she’s always there), is so very sweet. This morning I ordered a sausage/egg/cheese on a croissant and a Boston Cream donut for my wife. Not only was I a hero when I came home because the donut was so good, the breakfast sandwich was one of the best that I have ever had! Kudos to you Harpo’s for making our little town proud and for such a delicious breakfast!!“

“I ordered a pull apart bridal cupcake dress and cookies for my daughter’s bridal shower. The cupcakes were made in 4 different flavors that were moist, a good size, and delicious! Some cupcakes were decorated as blue flowers to surround the dress. It was a beautiful presentation. The cookies shaped and decorated as a bridal dress, an engagement ring and a Miss to Mrs plaque were the best! I recommend this bakery for any of your sweet desires. The staff was very easy to work with.“

“I had my first Amazing Ackee experience years ago at the Ellington Farmer’s Market, and I’m still enjoying alllll their offerings today. What can I say about all the great food?? Well, I’ve never not liked anything, and I thoroughly enjoy anything I’ve eaten. I love to stock up on the patties especially. Pre-ordered a order for Carrot Cake and a dozen of Cannoli's , Italian cookies. So professional ,fresh specially the Carrot Cake was so moist as well as all the delicious pastries and Rye and Italian bread was on point .Made our Easter holiday wonderfully .“
