Full review- Just found out about this gem and had to try it. As a connoisseur of Caribbean cuisine it is our mission to try and review every restaurant we can in the area.

Apparently, they’ve been open for a few months but we weren’t aware. Found them on a google maps search at 5.05pm on Saturday. The listing said they closed at 5pm. On a whim called the phone number immediately and pleaded with them to stay open for pick up. The kind lady replied that she was planning to be open for another couple of hours. So I jumped in the car and headed over there quickly.

We ordered variety of dishes :
- Chicken jerk chicken
- Curry goat
- Oxtail

The jerk chicken was running out so we completed the order with a little bit of stew chicken.

All the dishes were very good.
The rice and peas were truly special - Perhaps an extra dose of Love❤️
The Stew chicken was also outstanding.
We will be ordering all these dishes again.

The location is incredibly convenient. it is on College Street literally a block from Main Street.

Middletown is emerging us a culinary destination, and this lovely cozy Jamaican spot really elevates the game.

The food is good. The people are wonderful. the location is fantastic.

Everyone commented on how flavorful the cake was, but the artistic talent of the baker/decorator took centerstage!!! The cake was so beautiful, we didn’t want to cut into it!!! “I ordered a pull apart bridal cupcake dress and cookies for my daughter’s bridal shower. The cupcakes were made in 4 different flavors that were moist, a good size, and delicious! Some cupcakes were decorated as blue flowers to surround the dress. It was a beautiful presentation. The cookies shaped and decorated as a bridal dress, an engagement ring and a Miss to Mrs plaque were the best! I recommend this bakery for any of your sweet desires. “I want to start off by saying that I go to Patty cakes all the time in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury and they are very professional. Their egg sandwiches are amazing and their bakery department as well. The staff is very nice. I highly recommend patty cakes.

While some of the baked goods can be a little dry, that's easily remedied by pairing everything with a coffee. Breakfast and lunch are both great options. Seating is limited so you may not be able to sit inside/outside in all circumstances. Parking can also be a little annoying since the business is on a main road and the number of spaces is somewhat limited.“
