“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “I ordered tea online on a whim, and wow, am I impressed! I live in central Massachusetts but I will most definitely take a drive down to Connecticut to see the cafe in person. The teas are divine, and the chocolate is out of this world. I could tell that it was packaged with love and care, could literally feel the good vibes oozing out of the box into the air. I already signed up for the tea journey subscription box and will likely be a lifelong customer. If you are looking for high quality tea, you’re in the right place!“

“To reviewer tmG9470YS - I think you have reviewed the wrong bakery. Our bakery is spotless, all our baked goods are baked fresh and we don't even use the dumpsters (we dont want to attract bears). So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery. “I love the steaks here. Always cooked perfectly. I also love the fish. The salmon is delicious and so is the shrimp. Seasoned beautifully. I’m a big fan of the Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob. It’s big and kind of like Mexican Street Corn but not overly spicy. My husband orders it with just butter & loves it too. I have not had a burger here yet but it’s my husband’s favorite burger in the area. Always cooked perfectly and huge (1/2 lb!). We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed.“

What an awesome experience! The website is so easy to use, although the cake was only available from the Bethel location, but that was not a big deal. The baked goods were delicious - my coworkers were all asking where I got them from, everyone loved them. And everything was ready for pick up right on time.“

“The service was wonderful everyone said hello and welcome the pizza at fist bite melts in your mouth with a slight crunch the crust was perfect crunchy yet soft I had a slice of buffalo chicken pizza the chicken to buffalo sauce was spicy but just the right amount of spicy with a tangy aftertaste the atmosphere felt modern yet rustic and clean a great place for a quick bite or simple dine in with family hands down 5 of 5 stars“
