“B&B must stand for “Better & Better!!!” The new ownership, as short as they may be, have really turned the place around. I love the new floor and the Pepperidge farm bread selection. I do think they need to carry alternate Monster™️ flavors. Good pastrami too.“

“Went to La Strega today for lunch. What a great place! Had one of the best deli sandwiches I have had in quite a long time. I had The Annie and I added sopressata. All deli meat was sliced razor thin, just the way it’s supposed to be. Very flavorful. The staff there were super friendly and you felt like you were home! I will return for sure!“

“I've been driving past this place for years, and finally had the the time to stop in. I didn't know what to order, so I asked for the sandwich that everyone is crazy about. It was a large grinder packed with everything. Took me 3 days to eat it. But what a sandwich!!!
Don't miss this place. Easy to get off and back on the highway, and there's a gas station nearby.“

“Steven's Deli makes a FANTASTIC buffalo chicken sandwich!!! My coworkers and I are never disappointed when we order sandwiches from here! They post their specials on Facebook daily, and offer an awesome variety of meats, toppings and options. I'm always impressed by the flavor combinations they come up with, especially since their specials change daily rather than weekly. The folks behind the counter are polite, kind and efficient! I don't believe they have fountain drinks, but the selection in their fridge is pretty inclusive. Thanks everyone at Steven's! I'll always look forward to that buffalo sandwich and sauce!“

The firecracker (owner recommended) was fabulous - tons of flavors happening at various levels (yes with a bit of heat 😉), my classic (with american cheese & onions added) reminded me of the Turkey Bacon Avocado wrap from Quarry coffee, and my husband's Cuban sandwich was spot on even with the adjustments to the bread!

“Zurdo's Deli is a real hidden gem in Waterbury, CT. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and it was a game-changer. The bacon was cooked perfectly crispy, and the eggs were fluffy, along with just the right amount of cheese on a fresh, soft roll. Everything was so delicious, and those chicken empanadas? Just to die for! The crust was perfectly browned and crispy, and it has just the right flaky texture to cradle a juicy filling full of intense flavors. Hands down, this has to be the best chicken empanada I've ever had. Great food, great prices!
