“If you haven't seen the new look at Taco Bell, your missing out on a good, clean atmosphere. It's 11:22pm and it's been a while I haven't sat and had me some good supreme Tacos!!! I am very satisfied with the young gentleman who took my order. The cook definitely hooked it up chicken, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, hard tocos with melted four cheeses inside and out cant forget thsour cream chachooooo! Brooooo!!! ♡“

“This place is amazing in all regards, it is our go-to dining out spot of choice. As others have noted, the birria is absolutely incredible. The detail that brings my family in consistently is that it is a standard meat you can order any of their many offerings with. Kudos for that idea ! Note: They are no longer at 50 Rapallo avenue. They moved right around the corner to a more visible location that will get more foot traffic passing by, I hope it works out well for them. I believe the attached map has the new location correctly shown, the posted address has not been updated. As of mid April 2026, they were closed to renovate the new location, I was told their projected re-opening was going to be in early - mid May. Good idea to call first. If the owners or any customers have an update on that, it would be great to post. My daughter and I are suffering from La Casa Mania birria withdrawals and need a fix soon !“

“Don't let the simple name fool you. This Mexican restaurant is one of the best in the state! My partner and I visit once a week and never had a problem with the food and/or service. The food is authentically Mexican and is delicious. The drinks are amazing and they pour heavy. Many latinos go to eat there so you know if latinos go to eat there the food must be good. The service has always been excellent. No attitudes. Just happy faces. The restaurant is very clean.“

“First time coming here, we were a little disappointed that the items both my husband and I wanted to order were unavailable at the time however what we did end up getting was very delicious. I got the birria tacos which I've had from many other places and these were the best ones by far. The beef brisket was perfectly tender, the flavor of the birria and consumé was amazing. My husband ended up getting the pastor burrito and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We love a good place to get some tacos/burritos and this was some quality authentic Mexican food. I usually get the enchiladas huertenas because I can't decide if the mole, red sauce, or green sauce is better; they are all equally wonderful. So are their tender, flavorful tamales. even their chips & salsa are a cut above. Pickup during the pandemic is fast and painless, which we appreciate.“

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

Expectations should be high, as this restaurant is owned by the name owner that introduced Mexican food to CT with his first establishment in Middlebury CT. It’s only be opened in Plainville CT for a few months, word of mouth will get around and this will be Planiville’s hidden gem.“

“We've always go here for dinner. What sets this place aside from most restaurants is the great service from the owners and staff. They always greet you with a smile 😃 and make you feel right at home 🏡. We always sit at one of the large comfy booths and enjoy a great meal. The passion fruit juice was especially good, not too sweet, just right. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality and portions.I also loved the outdoor seating area. It was nice being able to sit outside, enjoy the weather, and watch TV while eating.“

One hundred percent way better than the new haven trucks way better than any restaurant imitation mexican food!!!
