“Got a half NY cheese and half Margherita. Margherita was the best I've ever had, NY cheese was up there too but wouldn't call it best ever. You're gonna have a great pizza if you order from here. I also like the simple atmosphere for sit down - it's a shared seeting area with a few other restaurants and the pizza was served on the cooking tray with paper plates. “First off, it’s a family run business. Secondly, the front door has every sticker you can think of, very creative way to show who goes to this restaurant, from across the nation. The food here, is superb! I always order via Uber eats pickup, and I always get the grandma pizza. Great selection of toppings! I will say it is a bit expensive, but you get the best pizza in new Canaan! The employees there are super polite and very kind, and the wait time is not as long, and you could walk around town to wait for your food! I have come here multiple times always getting the grandma’s pizza and also switching it up by adding some wings. Great food, and great experience here. Highly recommend it, family friendly, great location, and great service.

Parking: There’s a small amount of spaces on the side of the restaurant, and street parking. I usually park at the parking lot next to the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Employees at the restaurant are super nice! Great service, and they are super friendly. Great place to hang outside while waiting for your food!“

I walk all over Stamford testing, and I like this place because the perfect pizza brings back childhood memories and how you came to love pizza. Just the right amount of everything. Other than service and food is excellent, they need more room. It's so popular I have seen it when it's standing room only.“

“Stopped in at Joe's on our way back from Mass on the Merritt Parkway. We prefer local and they did not disappoint. Staff was so friendly, packed up our order along with extra napkins and condiments. Fantastic food! We took a menu and will continue to stop on our trips back and forth from PA. This was a great find... quick access on/off the Parkway, reasonable prices, and great people/service. Def CK it out!“

“Discovered Sergio’s about a year ago. It is now one of, if not my favorite eatery in Stamford. Great quality food at amazing prices. Love the people who run it, extremely nice. I get the Turkey sandwich on a wedge with provolone, lettuce, tomato and Mayo. I also get the chicken souvlaki with rice. The fresh bread is amazing. The chicken and rice is great as well. The employee turnover rate has been high lately and I'm not loving the newer management HOWEVER overall still a solid option for cocktails and their Neapolitan style pizza is delicious. Your night will be great if you're lucky enough to be served by Eugene! He makes the best cocktails. Dorian is very friendly and will provide great service. If you want to plan events, Brandon W is simply the best!!“

“The CBR pizza is out of this world. The first time I went in there my boyfriend & I bought a few different slices to try & they were all good but the CBR was def our fave. The slices are a generous size & price too. I like really thin & thick crust pizza. Classica is a happy medium between the two - prob more on the thin side & has the perfect amount of crunch (it doesn’t crack & fall apart when you take a bite like some thin crust pizzas do). We LOVE Classica Pizza!! 🍕❤️“

“This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

Cafeteria ambience and restricted parking and the only two downsides. I don't downgrade for that, but it's not the most romantic first date. I will go back to Johns every time I come to Stamford!
