“Got a half NY cheese and half Margherita. Margherita was the best I've ever had, NY cheese was up there too but wouldn't call it best ever. You're gonna have a great pizza if you order from here. I also like the simple atmosphere for sit down - it's a shared seeting area with a few other restaurants and the pizza was served on the cooking tray with paper plates. “Simply put, Joe’s has the best pizza outside of New Haven and he certainly rivals even the best places in New Haven as well. We all know there’s two things that make a good pizza, dough and sauce, and Joe’s has both nailed down tight! My other big favorite is grandma‘s meatballs, they have an extraordinary flavor. It’s obvious that they take an unmatched pride in their work. The staff is always kind and attentive. I actually like it when I’ve got a few minutes to wait when I’m picking up on a busy Friday, watching the crew is interesting as they run like a finally tuned machine and do their best to get everybody taken care of in a timely manner. Highly highly recommend I would give them 10 stars if I could.“

“Wow. Just wow. Sergio's has one of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had (and we know pizza!). The crust was light, had just enough crunch and was topped with all kinds of cheesy and topping deliciousness. I didn't rate the atmosphere because if you didn't know there was a pizza and calzone heaven inside, you'd drive right by. DON'T LET THE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU. It was absolutely phenomenal. It was worth eating in the car (because we were driving back to NY and there was no table service - only take-out). SO WORTH IT!“

“Where do I begin? The customer service was exceptional. The individual at the counter was very friendly, and nice, did not catch his name but I’ll call him the cool guy with the nice beard!!! I asked for two slices after he told me how big 1 slice were, so i opted for one, he still gave me two and a can on top of that… woow that pizza was delicious so far the best for me on Connecticut ave. I been working around here for over a year it is my first time eating pizza at CRUST ISSUES pizza, and won’t be my last…very nice looking place too Highly recommend!!“

“I left an emotional review the other day when my online pizza order was incorrect- user error apparently, I don’t know how to remove it, so I wanted to give an update. The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? I looooove Bronx house…” Drama. So, I take it back- and am so happy we can keep ordering from this establishment. My kid loves the pizza, and it’s super quick and conveniently located by the hockey rink… lesson learned, just call. Us dinosaurs are no good at online ordering.“

However, I don’t think that’s a valid reason to take a star away from the quality of service or food because it was that good!“

“This is my reward for taking the kids to the pediatric office (just across the street) It’s got everything you’re craving, but the breakfast is my personal favorite. “We have been there 3 times. I wanted to wait before I posted a review. There Pizza is excellent,
very consistent, apps are good, nice selection. Service good. Very friendly staff. I have no complaints about the staff great people... Other than the beer and drinks being a little pricey I have no complaints..
Now for the negative.... There should be signs posted that all children must remain in their seats!! Maybe a designated area for just families with small children, management has the right to post this and should have some control over there establishment.....There is kid friendly and then there is kid friendly! Friday and Saturday night particularly. There has to be some thing done about the kids running around all over the place very annoying very distracting people trying to have a conversation, and they are running through the bar area climbing on the seats..Parents get controll of your kids; this is not Chucky Cheese; this is a place of business..!! Something needs to be done and this was 730 pm.
We thought going later 2 of the 3 times we we visited kids were running out of control. It wasn't just my wife and myself, we were with 6 other people also complaining and this was the bar area..Also some of the people commented that were sitting next to us..1 out of the 3 times we were there It was definitely much better the later you go to avoid the kid chaos.. do not let that detour you the pizza is excellent and the staff is outstanding !!!

I am writing this because this is a very nice place, food and service is awesome, the staff is wonderful and very attentive.I understand this is a hard spot for them to be in because if they say something the parents might not go back and that's their business, but it's ruining it for everybody else. No I'm not some old fart that complains about everything but it's not just me other people were saying the same thing. So parents please keep your kids from running around,remember you are in charge.. If you want them to run around like I said take them to Chuck e cheese.!!“
