“Got a half NY cheese and half Margherita. Margherita was the best I've ever had, NY cheese was up there too but wouldn't call it best ever. You're gonna have a great pizza if you order from here. I also like the simple atmosphere for sit down - it's a shared seeting area with a few other restaurants and the pizza was served on the cooking tray with paper plates. “Simply put, Joe’s has the best pizza outside of New Haven and he certainly rivals even the best places in New Haven as well. We all know there’s two things that make a good pizza, dough and sauce, and Joe’s has both nailed down tight! My other big favorite is grandma‘s meatballs, they have an extraordinary flavor. It’s obvious that they take an unmatched pride in their work. The staff is always kind and attentive. I actually like it when I’ve got a few minutes to wait when I’m picking up on a busy Friday, watching the crew is interesting as they run like a finally tuned machine and do their best to get everybody taken care of in a timely manner. Highly highly recommend I would give them 10 stars if I could.“

“The best deal in town for take-out lunch. Whether you're having the small salad, an italian sub (wedge, grinder, hero), pizza or any of the hot offerings, you can't go wrong here. And if you're lucky, Santo (the owner) may be there hassling the customers and employees, good naturedly of course.“

“Wow. Just wow. Sergio's has one of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had (and we know pizza!). The crust was light, had just enough crunch and was topped with all kinds of cheesy and topping deliciousness. I didn't rate the atmosphere because if you didn't know there was a pizza and calzone heaven inside, you'd drive right by. DON'T LET THE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU. It was absolutely phenomenal. It was worth eating in the car (because we were driving back to NY and there was no table service - only take-out). SO WORTH IT!“

“I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like i have to let everyone know there’s an extremely cute pizza delivery driver working here. The pizza was hot, but not as hot as him. Honestly, I tipped extra just for existing that good-looking. He handed me the pizza and I swear I forgot how to speak English for a second. “Had an amazing time, we waited for a bit as we had no reservation and its a small space. Most tables were participating in the 8 course dinner. We were acknowledged three seperate times by workers which was great that we were seen. We were finally offered a table and they were super accomodating. We got a buffalo chicken cesar and a chicken vodka parm sandwich, 10/10!!! Absolutely delicious. I couldnt reccomend enough. While it is busy, the staff is just lovely. Come try out this great food!“

“I left an emotional review the other day when my online pizza order was incorrect- user error apparently, I don’t know how to remove it, so I wanted to give an update. The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? I looooove Bronx house…” Drama. So, I take it back- and am so happy we can keep ordering from this establishment. My kid loves the pizza, and it’s super quick and conveniently located by the hockey rink… lesson learned, just call. Us dinosaurs are no good at online ordering.“

“This is my favorite spot on Planet Earth to get a Meatball Parm Sub and they know this. I have been going here for about 30 years and love the fact that it is a family owned business, so Michael Jr. is there and delivers my meatball parm sub up the street to the Cardinal Club. And the tomato and mozzarella is awesome as well. I would gladly eat ANY of the dishes from Michaels. Now I want some!“

I’m celiac and finding amazing pizza that’s safe and delicious isn’t easy — but Riko’s nailed it. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp, and the flavors are incredible. They offer so many gluten-free and gluten-alternative options, and I felt totally taken care of. Their wings are also gluten free! It’s rare to find a spot that gets it right on both taste and dietary needs.

“The CBR pizza is out of this world. The first time I went in there my boyfriend & I bought a few different slices to try & they were all good but the CBR was def our fave. The slices are a generous size & price too. I like really thin & thick crust pizza. Classica is a happy medium between the two - prob more on the thin side & has the perfect amount of crunch (it doesn’t crack & fall apart when you take a bite like some thin crust pizzas do). We LOVE Classica Pizza!! 🍕❤️“
