“I very seldom order take-out - but I tried LaFamilia for pizza when they first opened in Pound Ridge - and was not impressed. However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“

“Food is always amazing, and I will never stop going there, but one thing confuses me. Every time I order a gluten free meal for takeout, there is a giant hunk of bread in the bag. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

I could have a pizza loaded with toppings and it never flops. The crust has the perfect flavor and crisp, and this place always has a line out the door! And the pic doesn't do it justice i ate the eggplant delight slice right before i took this pic and now going in for the kill on a “CBR” slice 🤣🔥

“I left an emotional review the other day when my online pizza order was incorrect- user error apparently, I don’t know how to remove it, so I wanted to give an update. The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? I looooove Bronx house…” Drama. So, I take it back- and am so happy we can keep ordering from this establishment. My kid loves the pizza, and it’s super quick and conveniently located by the hockey rink… lesson learned, just call. Us dinosaurs are no good at online ordering.“

“I have not dined in at Wonder, but I have ordered from one of their restaurants, Hanu Poke, using Uber Eats many times, and the portions are always very good and the food is always fresh and tasty. My only issue is that whenever I order poke, it always seems like they are out of ingredients, and I find myself not ordering exactly what I wanted because I have to substitute so many things. Even at times and days of the week when you’d think they wouldn’t be that busy, it seems like there is always something that they are running out of here. I understand that in having so many different options in one place, it can be difficult to keep ingredients in stock, but oftentimes the amount of food that they do not offer on certain days is very disappointing.“

“Simply put, Joe’s has the best pizza outside of New Haven and he certainly rivals even the best places in New Haven as well. We all know there’s two things that make a good pizza, dough and sauce, and Joe’s has both nailed down tight! My other big favorite is grandma‘s meatballs, they have an extraordinary flavor. It’s obvious that they take an unmatched pride in their work. The staff is always kind and attentive. I actually like it when I’ve got a few minutes to wait when I’m picking up on a busy Friday, watching the crew is interesting as they run like a finally tuned machine and do their best to get everybody taken care of in a timely manner. “Rikos in Darien has truly exceeded all of my expectations! Yesterday we had our engagement party there and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

My fiancé and I originally planned for a backyard party, but the weather had other plans and we suddenly had to find a venue fast. We called Rikos and from the moment we spoke with them, they were beyond accommodating.

The staff was so attentive, welcoming, and on top of everything all day long. The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests kept talking about how amazing everything was! They made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless, and helped turn our day into such a special memory.

“I ordered Chicken Marsala and the chicken was raw. I did not notice until I'd already eaten a bit. I called the restaurant immediately and the man who answered had a very hard time believing that the chef who's been there for 30 years sent out raw chicken. I sent pictures to him. No reply. I am very sick today. I called the restaurant this morning and explained the situation again to a much nicer man who at least apologized and said he'd have a manager call me shortly when they got in. No manager has called. Nicks Pizza made me sick, refused to believe their chef sent me raw chicken...and I gave them plenty of time to make it right. With their lack of response or even care for this matter, I feel I now am left with no other choice but to post this review of my experience. I've been sick all day and have pictures of the pink/translucent chicken I ate from here to prove it. I am a long time customer however will never be back.“
