I had a slice of chicken bacon ranch that was so loaded, I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. I'm so happy that I found a really good pizza place so close to me! “I started going to Amore a couple years ago. When we parked it looked very quaint , We walked in and it was like stepping into little Italy the staff will go up and above to make u meal fantastic. There us a area to sit outside when its warm and its so nice in doing so I would recommend it. My family has also spent many holidays here and the atmosphere and food is amazing as always but u need not just go for a Holiday any day is fantastic at Amore. “It had been quite some time since I’d been here and the food was just as delicious as I remembered!Our group ordered Clams, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Bow tie pasta with Pesto sauce, and an Arrabbiata pasta that was not on the menu.The pesto dish was practically licked clean . It was a large portion eaten by a tiny friend who seldom finishes her plate . The fact that she she managed to devour the entire plate speaks volumes as to the flavor.. I have to admit that I stole a piece of two because it looked so delicious .I ordered the Arrabiata, which was perfectly spiced. I think each and everyone of us enjoyed our food equally.The staff was perfect. They were very attentive, without being intrusive.I had to take a star away from the atmosphere simply because the overhead heaters in the patio area became too hot, and while they were incredibly accommodating in turning them off, it became too cold. “My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. “Been a loyal customer since the Califano’s ran Stamford Pizzeria. The food has always been fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, and you always feel like home when you’re there. I try to have something new every time I come but I tend to always go back to my favorites, chicken parm dinner, grilled chicken salad, chicken Italian with red peppers and broccoli rabbe.Parking can sometimes be a challenge but that’s because this place has found a new beloved home in Darien and everyone wants their food. “Wow, so delicious. Packed on a Saturday night, and it's not just because of the ambiance. The food was quick and delicious. I had the bucatini with zucchini and it was so special; savory and rich without feeling heavy. The cocktail list is small but the tequila mule was pretty good. We ordered a ton of food - three appetizers, two mains, two desserts, a cocktail, sparkling water and one soda and the bill came to just under $200 which felt really reasonable. My jeans feel tight and that is fine for me because it was worth every calorie.“

Zuppa de Pesce was so delicious, chicken francese so good and the chicken practically melted in my mouth. Everything overall was cooked to perfection. “This is my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant! We don’t live in Ridgefield but whether it’s dine in or take out, Venice is always worth the drive. Their Sicilian pizza is the best in CT!! I would also recommend trying their grilled NY strip steak, fried calamari or the stuffed mushrooms which are all delicious. My wife is obsessed with their hot antipasto which I don’t blame her. So if you’re looking for a good spot to eat, check them out. You won’t regret it!“

“I used to come here all the time before COVID, and I had the pleasure of going back this week. I was pleased to see that the restaurant had undergone some renos. It looks wonderful! My party of 4 was seated immediately in a comfy spot near the warm fireplace. Service was great throughout the whole meal. Several servers continued to check in on us throughout our time at the restaurant, and they were kind and respectful. I ordered the Fettuccine alla Bacio, which was very tasty! “After eating here a few times for dinner and or lunch we decided it was a great place to do our office holiday party. I had noticed they have a private room with large glass doors and inquired about booking it. They got back to me really quick with a better deal than anything else local we could find, meal options, etc. But honestly we would have paid more. They printed us out menus for our event. They lined up two tables for dining and have the extra tables for a white elephant gift exchange. We chose to have appetizers served family style (nanas bread with cheese sauce and marinara, crispy meatballs ( these were so good!) tomato and mozz salad and calamari) there were a few plates of each dish placed and timed so we weren’t overwhelmed . Then we had four options- chicken piccata, halibut, pasta ragu and a vegetarian option. After this came out we did our gift swap and then had coffee accompanied by tiramisu and a lemon crostata dessert. This didn’t feel like a under thought buffet style party. It came out in courses- we had plenty of time to enjoy each other outside of our office. We didn’t feel rushed. The wait staff was so on top of everything. No one had to ask for refills etc. Multiple managers came in to check on us periodically ( and the owners brother) and they packed up whatever we didn’t eat. We actually took all the desserts back to the office. All in all I would 10000 percent suggest this for anyone looking for a party location. While we enjoyed it for a large office plus spouses Christmas party, it was spacious enough that I could see rehearsal dinners, retirement parties graduations etc. Everyone left happy! We’ll be booking it again in the future.“

“If you're a fan of quality New Haven style pizza (apizza?) RP is for you. I got the Wooster Street pizza and ordered with pepperoni and mushrooms. Well done. Great sauce and crust and naturally that's the foundation of a quality pie. The roasted mushrooms were fresh and pepperoni was generous but not overkill. Strips of fresh basil made the difference. Even in the box it smelled so amazing it made the 5 min drive home seem like an hour! Rowayton Pizza will be my standard Friday night fare.“

“Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. Add Farmhouse Tavern to your list and sit at the bar and receive first class hospitality from Nick, a great bartender that never takes his eyes off your glass and provides heaps of hospitality on top. Halibut, Steak, baked clams, prosciutto, apple pie, orange sorbet.The only negative thing i have to say is that it was very loud inside with all the other customers conversating, it didn't bother my wife and I.“

“I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“

“I always love the food here. So delicious and so reasonable for the quality. The only thing that can be improved is the ambiance. Why are white Christmas lights blinking in the windows at the end of January? I wish they would update the interior of the restaurant to give it a less dated look to match the oh SO delicious food. “I'll up it to 5 because it is very rare I find good Italian food around here. Been driving past this place for so many years and finally decided to stop for take-out. The salad that came with the entree was absolutely delicious. Usually I throw the side salads out they are so bad. The chicken parm was huge, tender, flavorful and the best we've had in the area. The spaghetti was also perfectly al dente with a surprisingly delicious sauce -- neve had a good side of pasta for take-out as usually it is mush. Chicken paillard was okay-- not as flavorful as hoped. Service was very friendly and would definitely return for that chicken parm and salad!“

“We had my mom's Celebration of Life reception at Ponza's upstairs room. The room was beautifully decorated, light and airy with an abundance of space. Various seating arrangements (hi-tops, banquettes, etc.) gave the space a great visual feel. ALL of my food choices were plentiful, delicious and perfectly presented in a buffet style. (Get the antipasto platter... and their meatballs, amazing!) And don't get me started on the desserts. The owner/manager (Veronica) worked tirelessly for me in getting the set up exactly right. They have a small service bar upstairs, and the bartender was super friendly and 'on point' with the drinks. Made it really easy for folks to get beverages without having to go down to the main level for service. The wonderful staff kept an eye on the food and when it appeared that we were running low, they always let me know and asked if I wanted more or something else. They also have three plasma tv's where we were able to put in videos of my mom and play them throughout the evening, along with piping in a music channel of our choice. Linen tablecloths, tea lights on every table... Our guests were very, very impressed. All in all, an event that surpassed my expectations!!! I wish I thought to take photos of the space... but do yourself a favor... go check it out for yourself!!! I certainly will be back : )“
