“I very seldom order take-out - but I tried LaFamilia for pizza when they first opened in Pound Ridge - and was not impressed. However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. The food is magnificent; the portions are large yet without skimping on the artistry of fine Italian food. The owner is always there to great us with a smile, even all these years later, and the chef is always willing to help make your experience whatever you can imagine in your head. Their specials are just that, SPECIAL, not because they are going bad but because for decades, they have provided Westchester and many visitors, with a customized and mouthwatering, dining experience. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

“My FAVORITE pizza place in Ridgefield! I’ve been eating their pepperoni pizza for a decade now, usually 1-3 times each week.

I love their rich pizza sauce, the crust is nice and crispy, and they’ve got the sliced pepperoni which is great so no cups of grease like at some other places. Their slices are flavorful, and I don’t even need to add any extra spices unless I want some heat.

The staff are friendly and professional, and they always remember regulars. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, so I like decompressing after work there, or just meeting with my family for a quick sit-down lunch.“

“I left an emotional review the other day when my online pizza order was incorrect- user error apparently, I don’t know how to remove it, so I wanted to give an update. The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? They have some of the largest shrimp I’ve seen in a shrimp cocktail! The tuna tartare is amazing too!
