However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. Thank you for restoring our fun Thursday evening with no COVID fears.“

“I used to eat here often because I worked in Katonah but after moving away and a gap of about 30 years, I went back to this place for a late lunch with my family. Wow did it deliver! The perfect weather didn't hurt as we ate in their cozy outdoor pavilion but the things under their control were also perfect: a very personable and knowledgeable waiter, plates served sizzling hot, some of the best pesto you'll ever taste, salmon done to a chef's kiss, a heaping bowl of risotto chicken, all followed by homemade chocolate mousse that I seriously don't think can ever be beat. You better believe I'll be back, and it won't be thirty years!!“

“Parking: We love Oscars and have been here a number of times. Each time introducing someone else to the delicious food and cocktails, friendly, profession service, relaxing atmosphere.
As for parking, we have been lucky every time to get a perfect spot. The restaurant is located with other business’ around it. We have dined, not at peak hours so we were fortunate to find a close spot each time.
Overall Oscars is our first choice of restaurants at only 8 miles from home. We will be returning often.“

This place knows good food.Both my hubs and I had the pasta special, a hearty Bolognese with mushrooms served over lovely wide noodles (which tasted like fresh pasta, not dried, but I didn't think to ask). The sauce was beautiful — a lovely melange of perfectly-balanced flavors, commented by a sprinkling of ricotta.Portions were generous. “I’ve been dining at Molto’s first location in Fairfield for years since I was in college, so I was excited to try their second location in Darien Commons! The restaurant is absolutely stunning and has the same menu we know and love. You can’t go wrong with any of their homemade pasta dishes or pizza, and you could make a meal out of their appetizers, like Italian tapas style. The short rib was cooked perfectly in our risotto, and the bolognese sauce for my pasta was delicious. Fantastic drinks too. Servers were very attentive and food came out quickly. We went early on a Sunday afternoon and it was a wonderful experience.“

The server was very attentive and she took her time explaining the menu to us. This was greatly appreciated as it was our first time and we were looking for recommendations from the kitchen.

I ended up getting the chicken parm wedge, which was incredible. The bread was crunchy and the chicken was fresh. That order even comes with a side of fries which wasn’t specified in the description on the menu!

The ambience inside the restaurant is quite nice as well.

Spectacular service, great venue, and great food. I definitely recommend people to stop by if they’re in the Springdale area.

Parking: There is parking on the street on Hope Street, but also a small lot which is usually empty on Rolling Place.“
