“I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular. Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.“

“Went at lunchtime and the line was pretty long. So we sat and waited about 20-25 minutes for our grinder and sandwiches to be ready. The sandwiches and grinder were freshly made and stacked high...delicious. only drawback is waiting area and the long lines (other people obviously know it's a great lunchplace too.“

(Rt.184) Mystic, CT Somewhere In Time is the Sister Restaurant of ONE of my Favorite Breakfast Spots named 'When Pigs Fly' located in Waterford, CT. So I was hoping this spot was as good or better than her "Sister"!!😁 Upon walking in and recording with my phone I received a surprised and warm welcome from the Server Susan so that was a great start!😎❤️ The atmosphere was really cool, but it is divided into two sections, a front & back divided by a partial wall. The service was very warm, fast and welcoming so I felt like I was at Home. Let's get to the food. I dropped in this morning and ordered: 1. The Sampler (2 Eggs, toast, one buttermilk Blueberry Pancake, one Texas french toast, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, home fries, toast & coffee) $19.00 👍🏾 2. Cheesy Grits /bacon $6.00 💣 The Cheesy Bacon Grits were OH SO GOOD and thick too! They were the bomb 💣. The Sampler was a Delicious & healthy serving size! There was no way I could have finished all of it in one sitting. Everything besides the French Toast was Amazingly Dope! The French toast was super dry so one bite was enough.😁 The Sampler easily earned a thumbs 👍🏾 I loved my visit at Somewhere In Time so I highly recommend this Breakfast spot! “It's tragic that I just finally tried this place, lol. on the road all week and Saturday morning, decided to stop in. Had the Feta, tomato and spinach breakfast wrap, and smoked turkey, the meat, not the country, breakfast sandwich on a roll that was flaky like a croissant. The home fries are absolutely delicious with no machete chopped onions or anything else crunchy like hatchet chopped peppers yuck, just potatoes slow grilled to perfection. Add some sweet, friendly service and a "good morning," and yep, I'll be back!“

“Everything was amazing!! The homemade truffle Mac and cheese was out of this world. They come right to ur table and make it. It is not on the menu!! U have to ask. Do not get an app w it tho, unless there are a few of u. The Mac and cheese is filling! The burrata app is also very good. I had the chx parm w pink vodka sauce and my gf had the same w marinara. Everything, including our server, Mike, was awesome!! Highly recommend“

“Disappointing. Not the friendly service you expect from Panera. I have been going here for years, and they changed all the recipes for the worse. The soufflés are not soufflés. They are puff pastry with scrambled eggs. The puff pastry is touch and doesn't cook well. Their baguettes used to be authentic. Now, they are a loaf of bread. The quality if the turkey has gone down. No more metal utensils. It is almost impossible to cut a soufflé with their cheap plastic knife. They don't check their coffee levels and they run out constantly. Complaints to the manager did nothing. You'd not hear the word thank you anymore. They don't ask for your pabeta rewards card. They don't ask if you want to use your rewards. They charge you the wrong amount. This can't all be the fault of the cashier. Where is the manager? I could go on.

Kid-friendliness: I have always brought my kids here, but they don't have anything geared towards kids. Beware of the highly caffeinated teas.“
