“We have the good fortune to work at the Pond House and Elizabeth Park typically several times a year as we are full-time wedding photographers. It is hard to find a more beautiful location if you want to mix in the gorgeous outdoors with a comfortable and stunning indoor space. We always love the well-kept and photogenic grounds, the elegant touches from the interior to the patio, and the attentive, friendly, easy-going staff who run weddings so well. The food is superb, and it It is always a pleasure to book a wedding here since it will go absolutely seamlessly in heat or cold, rain or shine. If you work in this industry you know every wedding has a mishap or two from something forgotten at home, a sudden change in the weather, the party being stuck in traffic, etc. Everyone at the Pond House rolls with the punches so well, and the venue allows us all to collectively handle this turbulence with grace. The communication is excellent with other vendors and one another. They make sure to take care of their vendors really well (which always tells me they go above and beyond for couples). “I ordered a lemon-flavored birthday cake with buttercream frosting. The cake was made with the freshest of ingredients, was moist, and was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Everyone commented on how flavorful the cake was, but the artistic talent of the baker/decorator took centerstage!!! The cake was so beautiful, we didn’t want to cut into it!!! “First timer here. The atmosphere was awesome. Sat at the bar and watched motoGP. I ordered the brisket egg rolls and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Crispy crunch, sweet, salty, umami. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.“

“This is one of my top 10 places, I have ever been. When I walked in I felt a very calming atmosphere and overall friendliness. It is a small space, with five tables and a bar that seats at least six. The service was friendly and genuine. She had a great smile and was super attentive.The pricing is crazy good and the serving can feed two people, if not take home for leftovers.I had the tuna melt on sourdough with American cheese.What I really liked is that the tuna salad was just tuna and mayonnaise. You can add tomato or onion or lettuce, if you choose, but I generally like a plain tuna melt.You can always add a side for a little bit extra. But I chose to have a small bag of chips and a pickle.The friend who met me for lunch, had a roast beef sandwich and it was stacked high with more of a pink roast beef and looked so good!!She verified it was excellent.I ordered a Lyman's, which is local, hard cider.My total for the meal and drink was $17.50 and I tipped $5.Parking is in the back, you pull into the Dunkin' donuts parking lot and drive to the back- right side.I will definitely be back.“

Full review- Just found out about this gem and had to try it. As a connoisseur of Caribbean cuisine it is our mission to try and review every restaurant we can in the area.

Apparently, they’ve been open for a few months but we weren’t aware. Found them on a google maps search at 5.05pm on Saturday. The listing said they closed at 5pm. On a whim called the phone number immediately and pleaded with them to stay open for pick up. The kind lady replied that she was planning to be open for another couple of hours. So I jumped in the car and headed over there quickly.

We ordered variety of dishes :
- Chicken jerk chicken
- Curry goat
- Oxtail

The jerk chicken was running out so we completed the order with a little bit of stew chicken.

All the dishes were very good.
The rice and peas were truly special - Perhaps an extra dose of Love❤️
The Stew chicken was also outstanding.
We will be ordering all these dishes again.

The location is incredibly convenient. it is on College Street literally a block from Main Street.

Middletown is emerging us a culinary destination, and this lovely cozy Jamaican spot really elevates the game.

The food is good. The people are wonderful. the location is fantastic.

Parking: Plenty of parking- street, garage.

Wheelchair accessibility: Two door entrance and a lip, prolly tough to wheel in via chair or electric but totally cool crowd to have people see u and help u in most of the time.“
