“All around wonderful experience. The fact that the day was sunny with a breeze helped to make this an overall 5. Service was friendly and attentive. Steamers were great, a few with grit but most were sweet and tasty. I don’t eat oysters but those in my group who do said they were good. NE Clam chowder was very good. Could have been slightly thicker but had a great flavor and was seasoned well. Lobster was sweet, tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. You don’t go to this type of place for their potato salad and coleslaw but they both deserve a mention because they were good, especially the coleslaw, it had a great crunch and was dressed but not dripping in condiments. Special lobster roll was also really good, stuffed with lobster meat. We tried both corns, buttered one was hands down the best, the corn flavor was front and center but also glad we tried the other one. Will definitely return to try more menu options. A perfect New England experience.“

“My wife and I went here for one of the stops on our honeymoon. The golf cart ride from the remote parking lot was relaxing. We had a water front seat It was absolutely breathtaking. “A culinary delight! I took my family to Oyster Club on a Saturday evening after some shopping in Mystic and had a wonderful experience. The oyster happy hour was fantastic. As a raw oyster enthusiast, I was elated at the quality and price. I had a dozen oysters myself and had to stop myself from getting more- they were SO GOOD! The blackfish I had for dinner was excellent. The ramp hummus was a real highlight. For dessert, we had the maple ice cream which was the most delicious ice cream I have ever had. It was a real treat to come here. You can tell that the food is made with heart and served with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. I’ll definitely be back soon.“

Chicken was delicious, wrap wasn't soggy, and the fries were amazing. “We just took my daughter for her 17th birthday, she originally wanted sushi. She looked at the menu and immediately changed her mind and chose to try her first seafood boil! She absolutely LOVED IT! The servers are fast and friendly and the food is GREAT! She chose snow crab legs and black mussels, my boyfriend had a crab cluster combo and I had a sausage boil combo. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We will 100% be coming back!!!! Highly recommend!“

“We visited here for the first time last night and we were not disappointed! The dining room is a bit dark, but it’s nice and tastefully decorated. Our server was Christina and she was great. Very friendly and personable. She was very genuine and not faking it for the job. The food was FANTASTIC! I ordered the famous Bisque Bomb, which was pricey, but worth every penny. My husband had a cup of bisque and the B&B tacos with shrimp, and he said both were very good. If you’re in the area this summer, give Ford’s Black and Blue a try. Great food and great staff.“

“I got the Fish and Chips last night 09/03/2024. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were quite big. I usually don’t get to have seafood because I moved down south near Asheville, NC but this place made one of my favorite meals (that I don’t get to have too often anymore) perfectly even the fries were cooked perfectly. “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “My wife and I have been there 2 times in October/November 2024 for the Friday fish fry. The meal is filling and the fish is better than some restaurants we have tried in Mystic CT. The fish has a very thin dusting for a coating and cooked perfectly. We are sad this is for a few Fridays ending soon.“
