“This is a wonderful Black owned family restaurant and bar. The food, drinks and service are very good and the atmosphere has a warm and inviting vibe. There is Comedy Night on Thursdays and a DJ and Karaoke on Fridays. The entertainment is top notch in this safe venue where the mature can relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. I love going to this restaurant.“

Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. We’ll be back.“

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“

“We love the James Madison House. I just had the best food I have eaten in 2024. Tonight’s Shrimp Scampi over spaghetti squash was the best dinner I have had anywhere in CT. Presentation was 5 star good. The spaghetti squash was actually better than the shrimp. I can’t believe a pub bar can produce such incredible food. And it was gluten free to boot. I had an unbelievable experience there tonight. My wife’s tacos were top shelf as well. Keep it up friends at JMH. Can’t get a better dinner anywhere.“

“The best Grilled Chicken “Panino” I have ever had!! Flavors were delicious. A light sandwich that didn’t make you feel like a load after you ate it. The bread was soft and fluffy. “Red lobster is definitely trying to up their game. The menu is simpler than before and the food is far more consistent. We found the dessert way too sweet. Their cocktails are good, but can certainly use some tweaks. Their steaks were never their main draw, and it still isn't, so avoid it if you can. It has been years since we went to Red Lobster and now we have gone twice in as many months. Looking forward to going again soon.“

“I honestly am ashamed to say that I’ve lived in East Haven for 22 years and have never had Tollis pizza. Some friends and I were getting together and we were talking about restaurants to go to, and I had mentioned that I had never tried Tollis. We decided to give it a go. And I have never been happier with a decision ever! We had the white clam pizza, we had the Amalfi pizza. And I couldn’t decide which was my favorite. My friends had the Bolognese sauce, which the waitress brought a little bowl so they could try it with some bread before they ordered their entrée! Nice touch! It was fantastic! Our waitress was super attentive, very friendly, we were near where they were making the pizzas and it was fun to watch. An all-around great experience highly highly recommend.!!!!!“
