“Great spot to grab some excellent beer from a variety of onsite brewers. Great model to help smaller brewers get things started, but more so a really fun taproom and biergarten. Nice open space with comfortable couches and bar seating. A few tables inside as well but a ton of seating on a deck and at patio tables inside the parking lot. Hard to say what they specialize in since the breweries and styles change, but my favorites are hazy IPAs and imperial stouts, and they are amazing here from Abomination to Evil Twin to False Hope to Tox to Fat Orange Cat. Midweek pizza is available and it’s delicious. Weekends bring a food truck which as always can be hit or miss.”

“Red lobster is definitely trying to up their game. The menu is simpler than before and the food is far more consistent. We found the dessert way too sweet. Their cocktails are good, but can certainly use some tweaks. Their steaks were never their main draw, and it still isn't, so avoid it if you can. It has been years since we went to Red Lobster and now we have gone twice in as many months. Looking forward to going again soon.”

“I can't thank you guys enough for such great food for our family get together. Everyone loved the dinner and I had so many compliments on the how good everything was, especially the mac and cheese. It seems that we have found new catering for our family functions, and I can't thank you enough. It saved me much needed time and things were simply delicious. Dealing with Jan was super easy via email and phone with no problems. Extremely accommodating. All in all, one of the best caterings I've ever had to deal with. I would recommend them highly.”

“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!”

“I ordered the 6 oz filet with the lobster tail. I think the tail was pretty good as I'm not a big seafood fan. However the filet was perfect. Very tender, cooked exactly how I requested and it nearly melted in my mouth.

Parking: There is plenty of parking spots but they fill up fast”

“My family and I have been going here for many years and seems that just lately Friendly's became just another fast food restaurant. Let me explain. I remember when the people working there knew your face sometimes even your favorite meal or ice-cream. Now they sit you down very small talk and it seams like they can't keep there employees. Everytime we go there's a new person there. And don't get me started on the prices it's way out of hand.”

“Had state street for the first time today after a hockey game. It was super busy but they quickly got us seated nonetheless. The food was SO GOOD. Well worth the price! The siracha maple syrup is FANTASTIC.”

“Pros: The boneless spare ribs were one of the best I've had from a Chinese restaurant in the area. The rice had more of a vegetable variety than others in the area.

Cons: The spring rolls are greasy and not filled well.

I'm going to have to try them again before I recommend them to the public.”

“It's a been a few years since I last visited, but I still think about this place from time to time. Whenever I'd visit my friend in New Haven, we'd always come here to feast on tacos and other offerings like tortas. The tacos are great value: $8 for 4 tacos for most of the selections. Best of all, they have my favorite variety of taco: tacos de lengua. Granted that the tacos de lengua come at a bit of a premium compared to the other varieties, but I'm more than willing to pay the extra $2. The taco fillings were generous and the chips + pico de gallo + salsa verde that came with each order was fresh. I wish they also gave radishes with the taco orders, but that's a minor thing. Next time I'm in New Haven, I'd be sure to come back here to have those tacos again.”

“We have been dining at La Lupa for a few years and love it! The food is delicious, but what truly makes La Lupa special are the people. It is a friendly family atmosphere. From the owners, to the servers, bartenders, and bussers, everyone is so pleasant. We consistently leave with a smile on our face, which is pretty special.”

“I will never get Chinese food anywhere else! My family and I have tried every Chinese food place around North Haven. Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! Our order everytime is chicken and broccoli spicy, general tso’s chicken not spicy, and crab rangoons. everytime the food is fresh and flavorful, everyone there is so nice and the place is beyond clean. I recommend to everyone!”
