“My first time here was a month ago having dinner in the steakhouse! If I could give 10 stars for the food, servers and atmosphere I would have. Last night we returned to dine in the tavern, food was absolutely delicious, Mariah our server greeted us with a friendly warm smile that she never lost each time she came to our table. We will be back very soon to sit on the balcony this time ! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!“

“Went to SaltBrick Prime Steakhouse there. Lovely, delicious, great unique atmosphere. Love their $59 special dinner w multiple great choices. I had a very tasty onion soup, a perfectly prepared prime rib w high end fries (could have been a huge potato), a Yorkshire pudding bread, and a dark dark chocolate cake dessert w real whipped cream. Relaxing and satisfying, has become a favorite.“

“This is a wonderful Black owned family restaurant and bar. The food, drinks and service are very good and the atmosphere has a warm and inviting vibe. There is Comedy Night on Thursdays and a DJ and Karaoke on Fridays. The entertainment is top notch in this safe venue where the mature can relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. I love going to this restaurant.“

Little did we know when stopping by this morning, we had done ourselves the greatest disservice by going anywhere else besides here😭 the food is soooo good like when your parents make you breakfast and you’re super hungry on a weekend morning. “Our server Devine was amazing and so well poised. The appetizers of meatballs and their charcuterie was presented beautifully. The only issue was with dinner. We got the squid ink pasta and the filet. You could 110% taste the food was high quality and fresh but it missed the mark for us on taste. It lacked so much flavor. If you’re looking for a good simple meal with 5 star service, this is the place but if you’re looking for dishes that the chef cares about flavor and excitement, this restaurant lacks in that. It was a good experience over all but we were just disappointed because there’s so much potential for it to be a restaurant where you go back specifically for that one dish because it tasted so good.“

“We have been on a year long pizza tour. This place is awesome. Best crunch so far.. and the sauce is amazing. My son and I bought 3 large regular pies not knowing that we should've probably ordered the mozzarella..but we ate a pie and a half between us, and then I brought some home and we finished it all .. I could have run 10 miles after it. Very light and enjoyable. We are coming back for the mozzarella!“

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“

“This place deserves a 5 star rating. The food is phenomenal, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The specials board offers new dishes every day for breakfast and lunch and they are incredible every time. Super creative, thoughtful, fresh and high quality. Service is fantastic too, very nice servers/cashiers, quick and friendly. Paula is a wonderful chef, and her service and cooking staff deserve all the praise. Very professional here, 10/10.“

For my main course I had the Reuben and Rachel sandwich. It too was awesome. I have been to the Old Saybrook location several times before and the Branford location is right on par with it.“

“John Davenport restaurant is a great spot for a quiet dinner and drinks. The view of New Haven is spectacular. I highly recommend the Jungle bird cocktail at Bar 19. The strip steak and fries were very good. It's a little expensive and the dinner menu is small, but the ambiance is worth it. Service was excellent.“

“my wife and I were looking at places to go, There was Doma, Pasta Cosi, LaMonacos,Goodfellas, Cava, so many other places , But we optioned for Rossittos, and asking Branford locals they gave some mixed reviews, I made reservations for valentines day, We were looking forward to it, And then we Arrive, Its like a Noisy Bar as soon as u walk in , We were seated in the Back along a long wobbly bench seat Next to a filthy wall with an oil pipe coming out, We ordered, The wait staff was extremely slow, I get it , It was busier than they probably ever are considering the occasion, No excuse, we ordered cacio e pepe, And a Lasagna Simple, Casio Pepe which is supposed to be done with Romano Cheese and Black Peppercorns , And pasta Water to form the Gravy.....over Bucatini which is a hollow pasta Well what I got was Brown Butter and someone's leftovers in a Bowl The portion was literally 3/4 eaten when I got it, I immediately asked waitress what the hell is this, she ignored me and walked away, The waitress comes by after almost 30 minutes of it sitting on my table and uneaten, and asks how was everything and is something wrong, I explained that situation, and this is not what I ordered, Couldnt be, We sat next to a couple who ordered Pasta and the Portion was Very Large and looked delicious, Then mine shows up which is literally 2 fork full of pasta in a bowl with This gross looking Brown Buttery sauce and Green parsley I have Many Photos, the waitress asked what I wanted her to do and I was mortified and quipped Bring me what I ordered for 26 dollars , she said We just want to make ya happy sarcastically , I said there is Nothing you can do to make me happy, But bring us the check she did 45minutes later and it was 89 dollars For a lasagna and Cacio e pepe, one soda and a martini, I added it came out to 61 dollars so where is the additional 28 dollars, we paid , Said nothing No Tip and left, Never will I ever Return I guess they charge extra for someone else's Leftovers the kid forgot to wrap!....“
