“I hired Jimmie for my wedding which was in June. He was very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the big day. He was in communication with my wedding planner because we were having some concerns about the other food truck we booked. Literally during ceremony, we found out our second food truck was not coming. Jimmie called his wife and sister-in-law who immediately drove up to our venue (which is an hour drive from most) to assist him in feeding our whole wedding party. Jimmie stepped up and handled the situation so smoothly , we are so grateful for him. & the pizza was absolutely amazing. Big Mac Pizza!!! He had a variety of pizzas out all night which the guests still rave about. We cannot thank him enough for saving our wedding...without him we would have been without food for our 90 guests.“

“We worked with Karen and her amazing team including her talented head chef Tess for our wedding in Summer 2024, and I literally could not recommend them more highly. We had a complex multi-cultural wedding and we wanted to do something special for our food, so floated the idea of Korean-style rice bowls with delicious mains and tons of vegetables and sauces to Karen. To our delight, she was super energized by the idea and SKBT did everything they possibly could to ensure that our food was absolutely phenomenal and unique, down to the tiniest of details. They also made their own vegan kimchi, which my Korean family complimented highly. Over and over again we heard from our guests how the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding, and one dear friend said, “this isn’t wedding food, this is HUMAN food” which is exactly what we wanted. “had our daughters baptism here this past Saturday. Everyone was happy with the food and desserts. The bartender was very professional. only thing I would change is the wines that they had out on the tables. Everyone that I had asked said they didn't like them. Had to bring our centerpieces right before the reception started, which made it difficult since we had to do it ourselves. They wouldn't allow us to drop it off and have their staff set it up which took time away from pictures. I used Amy Cakes from, their preferred vender list and the cake was amazing and beautiful. We used King Vincent for photos, which I'm still waiting to see pictures from. Hopefully we love them, but will update. I would definitely come back here again.“

“I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

“The Connecticut Wedding Group helped ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. From the first call, to receiving detailed tours of their venues, to the constant availability for texts and calls to answer questions throughout the process, they supported us from day one. Planning a wedding from across the country is no easy feat and having the connections that CWG provided with preferred vendors and local knowledge was essential. They took our simple decorations and made the space look better than we could have imagined. On the wedding day, Sean and Eddie were by our side before we even realized we had a question, and our drinks and plates were never empty. They facilitated the transition of events seamlessly, with multiple backup plans if the weather changed, and constant check-ins to make sure everything was as we wanted. Sean even stepped in to help bustle my dress when we couldn’t find a few of the buttons. At the end of the night everything was packed up before we were even done saying goodbye to guests, and our family was so grateful for the help. The best compliment from a guest was that “this was the best wedding food we’ve ever had, including our own wedding!” If you want you, your spouse and all your guests to truly enjoy your wedding without worrying about details, we cannot recommend Connecticut Wedding Group enough!“

“I had the traditional chicken salad which was delicious!! The environment is very pleasant and relaxing! I tried the dessert too but I can’t remember the names but was absolutely delicious! One of them was a pudim and I could feel a little taste of egg but nothing that takes my 5 stars away! I am going to be back for sure to try other sandwiches and desserts“

“The food was great BUT.... when the man arrived with the food it was expected that my party guests and I unload the truck AND set up the catering trays! When booking the event no one informed that I would to need to provide my own help to get the food set up - I hired a caterer so I didn’t have to do that. It was quite disappointing to realize a bunch of my guests were lugging heavy catering dishes from the truck and trying to find a tool to open and light the sternos! Had I know I would have hired someone to be there to do it instead of making my guests do it. Once the food was set up it was good. The veggie chili was delicious and everyone raved about the BBQ ribs and chicken. I would forego the green beans and lemonade/ice tea. Those things just weren’t worth it. Overall I would recommend them with a caveat that you must know that for the price you’re not guaranteed a full catering setup. Disappointed.“
