“By far the best in town I been here like 6 times food is amazing drinks are amazing servers are all attentive very helpful with the menu on explaining what they have and what’s the best to get. I never had a bad experience when I come. Servers also aren’t annoying like other restaurants they don’t come by while you’re eating which is great they always wait when you’re done to come and ask how is everything I hate when a server always comes by to disturb so this is something that stood with me. If you’re planning on coming here don’t second guess it just go.“

“We came from Maine for the Soundside music festival and stayed in Norwalk. We ate here twice while in town for the weekend! We left our credit card on accident the first night and they held it for us! We’d forgotten coffee creamer for our air BnB so we asked the bar tender if we could buy a cup of cream. He gave it to us! Melissa was our waitress and she was great! Super friendly and great service. Over all AMAZING food and service!!! If we ever travel to Norwalk again we will definitely be back for some grub!“

“We had a great lunch here. We brought my mother and brother to have lunch and they loved it. The spinach artichoke dip is awesome. Very flavorful and served with amazing seasoned hot pita bread. I love the tomato soup and the crab bisque was excellent. The French dip sandwich is more than enough to share. We don’t like the fish and chips but mainly because it had an unusual batter and the halibut was cut into stick forms. The Belgian waffle was very flavorful. The service was challenging at times but overall we had a very good dining experience.“

Boasts a sophisticated "American" menu (lots of seafood, (sushi too!) pasta, salads, sandwiches) with something for everyone. Large selection of wines at every price level. Staff works well together. Nice bar area with several high tops if you want to be a little more casual, and keep an eye on a sports game Our food was great. Will come again.“

Elliot & Angel are so kind, super friendly and professional. I enjoy talking to them when they’re not super busy and they’re always serving amazing food and slinging awesome drinks (beers, cocktails and mocktails).

I enjoy their breakfast. Eggs are cooked to perfection. Their breakfast bowl I had was awesome. I don’t like my food touching so I asked for everything to be individually served. The tots were crispy, chili is awesome! Usually the breakfast bowl is all of the above layered in a bowl. Get it! You won’t be sorry.

The breakfast burrito is pretty hearty. It has eggs, cheese and potatoes wrapped in a flour tortilla. I’ve had their breakfast sandwich on a hard roll and it’s probably one of the best breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, bacon) I’ve ever had.

For lunch and dinner they have many options since it’s a bar & grill. I personally love their chicken Caesar salad (you can get it in a wrap too). The chicken is so moist and seasoned to perfection and grilled nicely. My son practices here three times a week so he grabs dinner to eat in the car and he enjoys the kids menu options.

They’re located on the second floor of SoNo Ice House. Ambiance is a chill vibe with music loud enough to hear but you can still hear your friends during conversations. The tables are seated by the window so you can see your kid(s) play/practice. It’s clean. Has a full bar, full kitchen and booth seating as well. They also have a private party room for rent and they’ll cater it as well. So many great things to say about this establishment.“

“Been coming here for 40 years. Delicious lunches and dinners that are ample. Great variety of items on menu feature salads with protein additions, soups, yummy desserts; dinner entrees well worth the prices. Consistently great quality and service. Atmosphere is intimate, with tightly arranged tables, with a few outside on sidewalk. Only downside (which has no room for improvement) is the cramped entryway and bathroom that is holdover from an era when ADA accessibility was not a consideration. The restaurant is historic in that regard, with painted tin ceilings; was one of the first “healthier food” restaurants. It keeps that standing even in Norwalk’s hot restaurant scene. “I’ll start to say that we didn’t order any of the wild dishes that they are more well known for. We ordered pretty standard food, but I will say the portion sizes were great and all the food was delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive. They brought us some of their house made donuts near the end of the meal on the house. I imagine they were maybe making a new batch and had leftovers (I saw them taking some donuts to another table too). Or maybe it was because we went with the small child and they thought it would be nice for her. Either way, it was very nice.

The decor and atmosphere is really nice. I really enjoyed the vibe. They definitely have some epic dishes on their menu that I think we will come back to try on a day when we don’t have a young kid in tow. It’s definitely meant more for adults than children, although kids aren’t out of place there.

We had the souvlaki platter, the grains and greens salad bowl, and the kids Mac and cheese. Everything was just really good. Very filling, very homey, and large portions at a good price point. The donuts were the cakey homemade ones with cinnamon sugar and they were perfect.

Overall, would definitely come back. Definitely want to try some of their more creative and bonkers menu items.“
