“Service was excellent! Maura and the team were very helpful and attentive. Menu was fresh and unique. We had several apps including tomato toast, cukes & melon with feta, tuna and venison tartares and ribs - all very tasty. Food and fun drinks were top notch. We had an early dinner and noise level was great for conversing. Very clean establishment and good vibe. Maybe a bit pricey but worth it. Recommend to give it a try.“

“Taproot catered our wedding last year, and it was absolutely amazing!!! We knew we wanted them from the start and actually picked our wedding date based on their availability. Greatest and easiest decision ever. Everyone at the wedding, including the vendors and staff working the event, said it was the best food they had ever had. Taproot never disappoints! “What a surprise! We went because of the SONO location and discovered really good food. We liked the appetizers so much that we ordered a second round as our dinners. Great creme brulee for dessert. We wanted to spend a leisurely meal visiting, & this was the right place. The staff were helpful & never rushed us.“

“We dined here on a Friday night at 6:30 and place was 80%filled by 7:00. Service was very friendly and efficient. Appetizers of grilled and fried calamari were very good. The 14.95 size was very adequate for 2-3 people. Drinks were excellent also. Main course of veal very good, but bourbon cream sauce had a bit too much bourbon, leaving a bitter taste. Noice level particularly loud probably related to hard wood floor. Overall, pretty solid intimate restaurant with a seemingly loyal clientele.“
