“Tried Gaetano’s in Stratford for the first time- hands down the best authentic Italian deli in Connecticut. Everything was delicious, from grinders, cheeses, meatballs, chicken dishes… freshly made. “A wonderful family spot for dinner. Visited here many times with friends and family and we tried a wide variety of dishes and everything was among the best food I’ve ever had. I asked for spicy—but not overwhelming—and they nailed it perfectly. The staffs are incredibly professional and took the time to explain the dishes to me as a first-timer. I’ll definitely be returning—regularly.
While I spent a bit, the portions were generous and I had plenty of leftovers. In my opinion, the prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Fair to recommend them.“

“Great menu fresh and unique ingredients. Great cocktails and wines that pair nicely with menu. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. I had the Niman Ranch Pork Copa. And some eggplant caponata crostini as appetizer. We stopped at the rooftop bar for a cocktail and snack. We had Tuna tartare with wasabi peas. Service ambience. “Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. “During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

My reason for not giving 5 stars is because of service. I know the workers are busy preparing phone orders but when you have people in the shop, serve us! “My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. I wanted to enjoy my guests and my daughter’s achievement without time limits or oven timers. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself. Thank you Destiny and DiBella’s for allowing me to enjoy one of the most special Mother’s Day ever. 🙏🎓🌟🥰“

“I like this place a lot. I’ve dined in and done take out. Staff and owner are so nice. This a great place to stop in if you’re having an Apple Store visit and want to pass time or just need a break from walking broadway and shopping. Will keep going back.

The calzone sauce is great, in my opinion.Just be careful at night, it's located across from a 24 hour gas station and every time I've picked up an order at night I've been bum rushed by panhandlers and some can get pretty nasty. If you rather not deal with that then I'm pretty sure they have several delivery options though I like to pick up my own.I've had the pizza they're once and it was very good also, I asked for thinner crust and extra sauce and they made it no problem.All in all it's a decent place, staff was pleasant and cordial,, and I“

Her name Is LeeAnn and she was wonderful! So friendly, professional, caring and a beautiful smile. “Pretty good tacos, I had steak and cheese and carnitas, my friends got ground beef and queso and my boyfriend got the longanizas taco combo. This steak and cheese one is very American flavor profile, carnitas is very traditional Mexican flavor profile and the longaniza was not that spicy. The chips are really good, super thin, crispy and a little bit greasy but really good. The salsas are good, the queso was good but not spicy at all. They have Mexican sodas, Coca-Cola and jaritos. The restaurant is really small, there were two other groups of two in there and we could all hear each other's conversations. It's very tiny, but the staff is nice and the tacos are good.

Vegetarian options: There's decent vegetarian options, and you can ask them to modify most things. We get things modified there all the time. Most of the time it's done correctly, but if you stress that you have an allergy or that you're vegetarian they will make an effort.

Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has an onion allergy and we have ordered from there bunch of times, most of the time it's correct and when I have had to ask them to remake something because there was onion in his dish, it was not a problem.

Parking: There's a small handful of spots in a free parking lot, you can also park on the street, but it's a little ways down and you'd have to walk because the side street has a family dollar right next door so you have to park on the other side of that if there's no spots in that tiny lot.“

Sandra the owner is always drunk, sloppy, and looking for a hand out. Her staff too. There is zero reason to ever patronize this establishment.
