“Very accommodating- a beautiful platter of cannolis ordered first thing in the morning. It was ready in 20 minutes. Picked up a few more things- everything is always fresh and delicious! Half chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookies, oh my! And the best oatmeal raisin cookies you'll ever have!“

“Bruno’s Cafe I don't know where to start at all. They had good coffee, amazing service, the whole staff were great. I met them at a car event they made the whole time great. They treated me like family so Im gonna take my family up to them. Y’all were great, I hope nothing but the best wishes for y’all. You defiantly got me to make the adventure. “With the move just down the street, Beanz and Co & The NE pasta co transformed itself to another level. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. In addition to the main dining area, There are three separate seating areas: a room with comfy seats for a small group of talkers, a back room for a quieter setting and a third room perfect for a work meeting or small group of friends or couples.
I love the inclusion of staff with challenges, otherwise may not have this positive opportunity. 💜
The catering is great; I’ve taken home a number of delicious family meals.
The restaurants are run by family and friends creating a place like home. They are always nice and friendly.🌹
I can vision this business holding events in the evening, such as family celebrations or book clubs or small bands.
Naturally I highly recommend a visit to this establishment. It won’t be your last.🌺“

“I love this place and I stop in everytime I go through the area. The sandwiches are hearty and reasonably priced, the coffee is great and the staff is so incredibly NICE. The interior has no frills and I love it, no froufrou, just honest to goodness food, drink, and service. Highly recommend!“

“Matt hosted My Place Preschool for a field trip. He gave 3 and 4 year olds a tour of the shop and treated us to delicious cookies! 🍪 It was a blast. This bakery offers amazing treats but the owners are local and so wonderful. I was so glad they were able to host us!“

“I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. Thanks for hanging in and being so committed to our city. with the type of food and friendliness that AJ's gives they could have been successful any place in Connecticut.“

“An absolute gem of a place! The Zapiekanka was as good as any prepared by someone’s mom or grandmother! The coffee was fresh and strong!The atmosphere is welcoming and the owner is the kindest man!I am in town for my son’s therapy and felt normal for the 2-3 hours I was at the cafe! “Great little cafe! My husband and I love coming here for breakfast/lunch when we have a weekend off together. Its located right off the trail if you want to enjoy a walk before or after. I also love their pastries in front, they even have some delicious gluten free dessert items which are so hard to find!“

“The only thing here is that they denied me a drink one time i walked in and i still had 10 mins before last call and the perseon saod we dont just serve anyone off the street at this time... I was so upset. I will never forget that. The owner must think he is better than the people who keep him in business if thats the way he treats us. Its us that keep him in business he should remind his bartenders that as well. Food is great but always wOut of wings..... Come on thats the go to food for the bar. But besides that the bartenders are nice and the bar is clean cheaper than Ledgends and some other bars.“

“We arrived to some nice scenery outside & the decorations inside are beautiful, the staff were so nice! The food was delicious, and we were not rushed at all. The greenhouse is so toasty with heat, not uncomfortable either! Our waitress, Allie, most loveliest person I’ve ever met, you could tell she is there because she enjoys people. Absolutely will visit again! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, all excellent!“

“I just had the most heartwarming experience! 8/19/24 at 6:30 pm) I was standing outside of this location for a few minutes, hoping the intense pouring rain would let up so I wouldn’t get completely soaked walking to my car - no more than 5 minutes. An employee (long-ish blonde hair, partially pulled back on both sides) came out and asked if I need an umbrella! I wasn’t a customer, yet she noticed my debacle, and came out to offer help. I think we can all learn from her to keep spreading kindness! To management - you’ve got a true gem on your hands. Thank you for reminding me to pay it forward.“

“I stopped in for a tea at Beanz and Co today, I was so excited for the gluten free options. I took the time to walk over to the Pasta company part of the store and took home some of the delicious gluten free options that they had premade. There aren’t many places that have premade gluten free food so I was relieved to know I wouldn’t have to cook for the next few nights. I heated up the bbq pulled pork in the break room at work and had several people ask me what I had for dinner because it smelled so good! Everyone greets you there with warm smiles, it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back.“
