A special touch is the owner visits each table to ensure we are enjoying ourselves and the food. “Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

I love their tacos and burritos. they have added metal covering over the area where you place your order and over an area outside where you can sit and eat. you can also go inside where there are tables and plenty of toppings for your food. it's clean. there is a bathroom also. “Had a great lunch today at Lebnani in Watertown, CT. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The beef shawarma and hummus were spot on, and you can really tell everything is made with care. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Definitely one of those spots you’ll want to go back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a great meal.“

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. “So I have to give so much praise to this winery. First off Jeff is absolutely amazing. I reached out to him back in Feburary asking about using the winery to get married in April and Jeff was so easy to talk to and was so easy to make plans with so I had the best day. Second off a huge shoutout to the staff of the winery. I was married on April 13th 2024 and it was rainy, windy, and incredibly cold. They let us get married on their deck and out of the rain no questions asked. I went back today on 4/15 to pick up a bottle of wine because I want to have it to drink on my one year wedding anniversary of a wonderful memory of the beautiful place we got married at. The ladies behind the bar were so kind and helped me pick the best wine to my liking. Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful place to get married and a beautiful place to have created beautiful memories with those I love the most. “On the first December snowy night we ventured out for something to eat. Finding that the Berkshire was open we headed that way. The parking lot was not plowed but we made our way in. Warmly greeted by the bartender we ordered drinks and dinner. Hot Cuban grinder and there loaded Bake Potato.“

“jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

“We visited Walker Road Vineyards today after seeing the sign while driving through the countryside and we cannot recommend it enough. The scenery was beautiful. The barn gave it a rustic feel and the wine was delicious. My husband and I had the rose and it was superb. Also the owners were incredibly kind and took the time to talk to us about the history of the vineyard and they walked around talking to other people too. What really made it special was them taking the time to talk to my kids and make them feel important! Let’s keep small businesses like this alive. We will definitely be going back in the future!“

“Tried out the new pizza place here in town. The staff were nice, easy to order and friendly when picking up. The inside was clean and cute. The pizza was really good! I like a good thin pizza. I got pepperoni bacon and a cheese, picked up fresh from the oven and nestled inside a cardboard takeout box. The pizza was melted evenly across the surface, forming a smooth, slightly bubbly layer --ready to serve or devour.
It's the kind of pizza that screams comfort food, perfect for movie nights, casual hangouts, or solo indulgence. They offer tacos, pastas and soups as well.“

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“Oh my god. The food is so good. The parking is horrible however the food more than makes up for it. We had trouble getting here since they opened but finally could and I'm so mad we waited to come here so long. Being vegetarian it's hard to find good food that isn't boring. Problem forever solved here. Husband and I both got the vegetable Pad See Ew. It's amazing. I couldn't stop eating it and pretty much inhaled the food it's that good. The portions are generous and even with as much as I ate I slowed down and had to bring some home. As for the restaurant itself, at the time we went it's very sensory friendly for autistic people like me. The music is nice and muted. The colors are dark and comfortable. The chairs are comfy. The lighting it dim and warm. No real sounds from the kitchen. Of course we went and were the only people there because we eat early, but it was perfect for me and for us in general. Definitely will be back. So many good things to try!“
