“It would not be autumn without enjoying cider from Gotta Farms. It has been an annual tradition for years; picking apples with the grandkids, and purchasing baked goods and wonderful cider. At Gotta's the cider is unpasteurized, the way that it should be. It is delicious and the staff there is wonderfully friendly and helpful. I always mourn when the last of the cider is finished and they close for the season. I celebrate the start of every new season. Wonderful place!!!“

“So, so good! I took a trip up to Brown Butter Creations after reading an article in Connecticut Magazine. It was definitely worth the trip! I'm normally not a whoopie pie fan, but their pumpkin woopie pie cake and filling was the best I've ever tasted. Everything I bought was super yummy, and you really can taste the brown butter difference. They have scone specials on Saturdays, so check their Facebook page. If you can't get there early, you can call your order in and they'll have it ready for you. Super friendly service. Wheelchair and walker accessible from the parking lot. Did not see handicap spaces right in front of the bakery but there was plenty of parking out front.“

I’m partial to our families homemade banads but I can’t resist trying spinach pies when I see them in bakeries… I’m always disappointed… usually I find them watery, flavorless and the dough soggy. Well all I have to say is Subby you hit a home run! The spinach is seasoned beautifully, the sausage excellent flavor and the bread was just the right thickness. “Whenever I am in the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield area, I must stop at Bake Market to bring something home. Everything I have tried from sauces, dinners, soups, etc to their wonderful desserts has been delicious. I stopped to get more sauce and pasta and enjoyed a fantastic gluten free peanut butter cookie and a great cup of coffee to go! I am so glad they offer gf options! “Ordered a cheese cake for my vet/staff for Christmas in appreciation for all they do for me and my furkids and Marie did an amazing job from making the cheesecake, decorating it and also went out of her way to deliver it. They all loved it and I was pleasantly surprised on how cute the cheesecake was decorated with a cute pawprint and holiday festive decos on the side.
