“Came in last minute this past Saturday with a party of 9 (4 adults and 5 children under 11) as grandson had a baseball game nearby. Was my first time. Food choices were very good and kids menu also had lots of offerings and their meals also included ice cream. I can’t say enough about our waiter, Matt. He was just the perfect server for our party, as he had children himself and totally understood how challenging it could be eating out with kids. He put the kids orders in right away. He knew just want to stop by and check on us. He is an asset to your restaurant and you’re very lucky to have him. We will definitely be back. Was a very positive experience.“

“We are a group of eight Women golfers that travel each week to play a different course in CT. Get the usual eye rolling looks from the men from parking lot, pro shop to the course and finally the bar. Some men are polite but they are few. Quarry Ridge staff went over the top to make our Tuesday golf experience relaxing and fun. Course was in good shape. Kevin in the pro shop attentive asking questions after our round to see if we had a good time and what were our thoughts about women’s golf. Poor Kevin got a earful I’m afraid. He was such a good sport! The chef came out and checked on our lunch. Talked about his menu. Very enthusiastic. It was a perfect day Tuesday Blue sky, cool temps, Great Golf and being with friends. “As perfect as a an outing for lunch or quick dinner you can get. If you love steamed cheeseburgers, this is your place! Perfect combination of gooey-soft white cheddar cheese and fresh, hot and steaming, juicy burger. Chocolate milk shake round out the meal. Bun was soft and fresh. Great spot, don't change a thing. And they have Foxon Park sodas on tap! Birch Beer, Cream Soda and Root Beer! (along with more in bottles). Great meal!“

“I’m not sure why the recent reviews I’m reading through now are on the negative side! My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant (we happened to be in the area), and immediately were met with excellent hospitality. I am gluten free and vegetarian, so finding a place with kind servers and food I can eat is becoming increasingly difficult. They serve complimentary bread up front (which most restaurants don’t even bother with anymore) and have an option for gluten free bread(if you ask for it) at a slight up-charge. I ordered the Korean rice bowl and my husband ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese..the food came out super fast and was delicious. I have a very low spice tolerance, so I thought my bowl was on the slightly spicier side..but it’s Korean style food so that’s to be expected. We ordered a peanut butter bar for dessert, also gluten free. I didn’t get a picture unfortunately, but it’s was super rich but not too sweet. Definitely worth the trip!! People need to start writing more positive reviews for places because this restaurant definitely deserves more positivity.“

Most of the food was very good, although a few menu items advertised fries, onion rings, or berries as included, but they weren't. The chicken pasta was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor, but everything else we ordered was well prepared and enjoyable. I'd still come back and try more items from the menu.“

“I used to love this place!!! Haven't been in quite some time and after my experience I will not come back ever!!! There were 3 of us. 2 of us sat down at the bar first. The bald white guy nor the female working greeted us!!! In fact he just gave us an ugly stare, no greeting whatsoever!!! He then proceeded to throw 2 menus on the bar in front of us. When I asked for a 3rd menu, he pointed at one of the menus he had already laid down!!! I said there's 3 of us!!! He brought a third menu still not a word from him or the female bartender who kept walking by as welll. We sat for a few minutes, they both continued to act as if we weren't sitting there. Still no greeting.....be right with you....can I get you some drinks.....water anything. Finally, after about 15 minutes of sitting and continually being walked by and ignored, we walked out!!! At that point I didn't want this guy to serve me an ice cube!!! It took every thing in me not to let him have it. As a customer service supervisor.....the last thing I am going to tolerate is HORRIBLE SERVICE from anyone!!! I was totally disgusted with the service we received!!! Oh wait....we never got any service....just a bunch of frowns and ugly stares!!! FYI....I DID NOT TAP RECOMMEND!!!“
