“Really good accommodations for gluten, most of the apps were gluten free or could be made gluten free. They even made a few sauces to accommodate a dairy allergy, highly recommend this place and this will be the new go to spot for us. For those of us with no allergies, all food and service was spot on!Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy was easy here, highly recommended“

“It was a pleasure to meet Terra Sole’s newest bartender, Cody. He was wonderfully personable and perfectly skilled at his craft - definitely an asset to the Terra Sole team. He made us some incredible cocktails! With bubbles! We always enjoy going in to chat with our friend Alejandro, but will now look forward to seeing Cody as well.“

“Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The cowboy steak was amazing!!! 4 of us sampled each other's dishes and we were all impressed with them all. The vodka sauce was one of the best I've ever tasted. And then there are the desserts!!! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough.“

“I've been a regular at Nardelli's for a couple years and have never once had a bad meal. It's always phenomenal and service is always excellent as well. I've had half their menu and would recommend any of it, but in particular I'd recommend the shaved steak and cheese, the barbecue bacon chicken and the pulled pork sandwiches, as well as both their seafood salad and macaroni salad, and any of their parfaits and cheesecakes.“

“We dined here on Sunday evening for a special occasion. We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.“

“It's been too long since we're been. We've realized that we've been missing exceptionally great food and nice servings at very reasonable prices. It's a cozy atmosphere with very good waitstaff. Making reservations through SEVENROOMS was very easy and being part of Five Star is a nice perk. Thank you again...we'll be back !!!“

“We got pizza delivered. Our dog has never acknowledged the food in the kitchen before, and is very well trained. Upon putting the pizza on the counter, our dog FLIPPED over the smell. It was out of character and shows how AWESOME the smell was. 10/10“

“Had a wonderful night on New Year's Eve. Food delicious and great selections. Our waiter Omar was excellent. At the end we called the owner over and Tracy pulled over a chair to talk with us a bit. We had a chance to tell him how great everything was. Highly recommend.“

“Food , service, vibe, all awesome! We started with the most tender fried calamari I have ever eaten and a side of fried artichokes topped with a lemon ailoi. My husband had a twist on chicken parm, topped with gnocci that were like pillows. I have never had gnocci so light. I had eggplant parm and it was unreal. The sauce was flavorful, the eggplant was thin, not bitter at all. The bread was warm and light, even the olive oil on the table was top notch. I had a glass of house chardonnay with dinner, I don't know who's it was, but it was tasty! Even the music was upbeat and nostalgic. This is my third time there and it's always been perfect. I can't wait to explore more of the menu!“

We recently celebrated the 12 year mark since his passing and my family gathered here and flooded the place in memory of him. They were able to accommodate us and it was greatly appreciated! The pizza is also incredibly good delicious. Anytime I’m around bethel I take a pie home!“

“Having lived in the area my whole life I can't believe last week was the first time I ever ate here. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside but is very cozy. The wait staff is friendly and the pizza we ordered was the best I've had in a very long time. My wife and I shared a large pie and had plenty to take home. Usually the next day pizza's not so good but honestly I think it was better!!! We will definitely be going back“
“We’ve been going to A&S since we moved to Fairfield as newlyweds in 1996. We’ve catered our family gatherings, come in for sandwiches and salads, and taken full advantage of your lovely butchery and baked goods. Equal to all the yummy fresh food is your people — the folks you’ve had forever plus the local kids in their first job. This place is a touchstone for the neighborhood. Bravo!“

“I hadn't been to Dolce since they enclosed the patio area. The food was excellent as ever and lunch was reasonable. Excellent fresh salads and my chicken parmigiana was excellent, a large portion of tender chicken with a nicely browned layer of quality cheeses. The sauce is not the overly sweet red sauce in so many -laces these days. It had a nice garlic flavor and was big enough for me to take half home. My friend equally enjoyed his sausage & ziti. A top notch tiramisu followed w cappuccino for both of us. Had a little trouble getting the waiters attention at times but he was competent and pleasant. Dolce is also quieter than some of its raucous competitors. Recommended.“

“Just had the most magical dinner. We sat on the patio - had incredible cavatelli and broccoli, eggplant and baked penne. Iced cold dogfish beer. Chocolate cake to bring home. The owner is so sweet, always brings a fun energy to the evening. (We had a great convo about the nuance and patience involved in making carbonara properly.) “This is my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant! We don’t live in Ridgefield but whether it’s dine in or take out, Venice is always worth the drive. Their Sicilian pizza is the best in CT!! I would also recommend trying their grilled NY strip steak, fried calamari or the stuffed mushrooms which are all delicious. My wife is obsessed with their hot antipasto which I don’t blame her. “Awesome food and great craft beer list. Very knowledgeable staff about craft beers and wine. Great food and and a great value. Very cute, friendly waitreses. Truly great beer selection, not just the usual 5 different hazy NE IPA most places put up as their craft beer. There was 1 Belgian, 2 Germans, a bourbon barrel aged beer, as well as few Excellent Local beers. Do yourself a flavor, go for the beer and stay for the delicious food.Highly recommended!“

“I have been going to Capri since I’ve lived in Bethel as it is my favorite pizza place in this town so far! They have outdone theirselves with the buffalo chicken pizza. This was the best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve ever had anywhere! The blue cheese dressing underneath and just the right amount of spice. Idk who was making them pizzas on the night of 10/14/23 but they did a phenomenal job. As do all the pizza makers. Thank you“

“Pizza ? is old school. Absolutely delicious. Simple place emphasis on quality. Not doughy perfectly cooked. Not burnt but done. One minute either way would have been a different pie. Perfect. Delicious from the first bite Easy to eat , cheese does not fall in your lap but there is plenty of sauce cheese and any topping you choose. Stiff enough to pick up and eat without it flopping in your lap. Really enjoyed the pie. From the outside it looks small. Once you enter it opens up into a large area that can seat a lot of customers. Highly recommend. Real nice suprise. It’s a pizza joint.“

“BEST Italian anywhere nearby and worth traveling into Bethel for. All Italian wine list has something for everyone and the staff is happy to help. Amazing cocktail program and rotating draft beer, and we haven't even mentioned the food. This is classic Italian (no parm list or gloopy pastas here), and you get a true taste of Italy. They run weekly specials to keep the menu fresh and change the entire menu seasonally, using local farms as often as possible. A true gem in Bethel!“

“We eat here about once a month, and the food is always fabulous. The father is in the kitchen cooking, and his sons are in the dining room serving. The sons are always very welcoming, helpful, and entertaining. We were there last Saturday for another great meal. I told Nori, I want to take my time and relax between courses, he said of course, no problem. We started with drinks from the bar. I ordered a Double Angels Envy bourbon, and Sue had a slightly dirty martini. The drinks were great pours. For an appetizer we both had the Cacio e Pepe, prepared table side. Nori always does a great job making the pasta, and it is very entertaining to watch him. Wow, so much flavor it just jumps off the fork. I think this is their best appetizer. We then moved to salad, which they also made a fresh Caesar salad table side. The fresh ingredients made right there, provides flavors which were amazing. I had some extra Anchovies on the side, Sue was happy with hers just as it was.For Dinner, I had the King Filet Mignon, which was like 13 ounces. Flavorful and tender. You didn’t even need a knife to cut it. I usually order a ribeye when I go out, but this steak always has more flavor than a ribeye, and cooked just how I asked, medium rare. This was a better steak than I have had a great steakhouse. Sue had the Chicken Scarpariello, which was spicy, tender, and flavorful. Another good choice. On other occasions I have had the twin Pork Chops (not sure if that was a special), and Veal Chop. Again, excellent. This time, we didn’t have desserts as we were too full, but other times we have had their desserts, and they are delicious.I would highly recommend this restaurant. Parking isn’t the easiest, but we have never had a problem and it is certainly worth it.“

“I moved to Monroe over a year ago and I have sampled the pizza in the area with my family over that time, but recently a co-worker of mine told me I have to try Sal's. So with it being lent ... and a Friday ... I thought what better time to try it. I felt a little like Dave Portnoy without the camera and the millions of followers of course. I'm originally from NJ with family roots in NY. I know all the hub bub about pepe's and sally's - they are solid. This is the best local pie I have had. Hands down. Best pizza I have ingested since I got to Monroe. We will be going to Sal's only now for pizza. I didn't comment on atmosphere, because we ordered to go.“

The overall dining experience was amazing and the ambiance is great! I am an “artichoke aficionado” and the Carcioffi Fritti appetizer was perfect. “Food was good. We sat in front of the door in the dinning room. No curtain, frosted gloss or shade in the door which resulted in the light shinning in my guest all through dinner. You would think that they could fix this quite easily, by covering the glass with a decal from Home Depot or placing a curtain or drape over the glass since there exists a curtain rod on the door.“

“Our family tried Osteria Romana for the 1st time in Monroe on Easter Sunday. A challenging time to be first trying a restaurant. There were little things here and there that kept this from being a 5 star experience. When we arrived the parking lot was filled. There was a valet but we were skeptical because I did not notice the guy had a sign, pin, or jacket stating he was the valet. Luckily it was legit. When I checked in early they were of course not ready for us. I asked would they come out and call us once our table was ready? I was told No and to keep checking back. I kind of felt like since there was no where to wait inside. They should have at least come got us when our table was ready. Our reservation was for 7 people @ 4pm and our table was ready at 4:15pm. It's fine it was Easter and they were busy. At one point our waiter left, and it took a bit before a new waiter came over. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. For appetizers my husband had the octopus salad, I got the mini meatballs. My husband was skeptical about the grilled lettuce but actually enjoyed it. The mini meatballs came in a cute bowl with a nice added touch of a wooden spoon and was really good. Our main courses were seafood risotto for him and prosecco chicken for me. He ate every last bite of his seafood. I tasted his risotto which was cooked nicely. The sauce for my chicken made my chicken cutlets not crispy but it had nice flavor. Desserts: Chocolate Lava cake with ice cream and pistachio cheesecake. Both heavenly and sweet (but not too sweet). Wish we were offered coffee or cappuccino. But I guess its good they didnt because we were all ready to get up and moving. Hope to try their brunch with my husband or smaller group soon.“

“Food price / quality (value) rating 7.5. The atmosphere in the bar area is kind of 70's disco, but tasteful. A large bar , about 24 seats, surrounded by about 8 four seat tables. The two dining rooms are more formal. The menus are really cool, they are electronically backlit so that the pages light up for easy reading. They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes and several interesting specials. The wine prices were reasonable. They have about 8 or 10 draught beer choices, but half of them are too common. A bruschetta and fresh bread are included with dinner. I had the halibut special, which was good, but $45 was a little steep for the dish. The wife had the shrimp and scallops over risotto, which was good. Neither dish had anything unusual as far as flavors or presentation. The service completely fell apart towards the end of the meal, our waiter didn't check on us for about 20 minutes after finishing our entrees, and I had to ask three times for a draught beer list. I was going to have dessert and a cappuccino, but by the time we saw our waiter again, it was time to go home, so I skipped those. The bill was $135 for two entrees and four glasses of wine, which seemed a bit steep for what was received.“

“I'll up it to 5 because it is very rare I find good Italian food around here. Been driving past this place for so many years and finally decided to stop for take-out. The salad that came with the entree was absolutely delicious. Usually I throw the side salads out they are so bad. The chicken parm was huge, tender, flavorful and the best we've had in the area. The spaghetti was also perfectly al dente with a surprisingly delicious sauce -- neve had a good side of pasta for take-out as usually it is mush. Chicken paillard was okay-- not as flavorful as hoped. Service was very friendly and would definitely return for that chicken parm and salad!“

“This past weekend, I ventured into Terra, nestled within the chic Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, Connecticut ?✨. This gem of a hotel houses an exceptional, upscale restaurant that boasts an extensive menu that will satisfy any food lover’s palate ?️.Our appetizers set the bar pretty high. First up was the crispy buffalo cauliflower, adorned with micro celery and a decadent gorgonzola sour cream ?️?. The cauliflower struck the perfect balance - crispy without being overly fried, bursting with flavors that scored a delicious 9/10 on my scale. Next, we savored the gnocchi al forno, a heavenly blend of porcini mushroom cream, nduja (pork), and lemon breadcrumbs ??. The mushrooms effortlessly won my heart, earning an easy 10/10.For our mains, we explored the hidden fjord salmon, accompanied by heirloom beans, Brussels sprouts, and a rich porcini and tomato sugo ??. While the sauce had a slightly off note, the salmon itself was impeccably cooked, meriting a 7/10. The 12 oz. C.A.B. strip steak, served with duck fat potatoes, mixed mushrooms, and sherry vinegar, was a carnivore’s delight, perfectly medium-rare with a sauce that was nothing short of amazing ??. And let’s not forget the special - fish tacos that were so delightful, I believe they deserve a permanent spot on the menu ?? 9/10.Dessert was a sweet finale with their strawberry shortcake in a cup and a luxurious chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream ???. Both desserts were a testament to indulgence, effortlessly meriting a 9/10 with their perfect pairings and depth of flavor. For those with a penchant for espresso martinis, Terra’s rendition, where the coffee taste is subtly masked, is an absolute must-try ☕?. Beyond the exquisite food, Terra’s vibrant ambiance and extensive drink selection make it a must-visit spot ??.Overall Scores:Food: 9/10 ?0 ?Ambiance: 8/10 ?Terra isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience worth indulging in. “BEST EXPERIENCE!! PLEASE EAT HERE!! When I was 10 years old, I fell upon terrible misfortune and found myself homeless on the streets of Great Plain Road. An angel of a man, I believe he is the owner, answered my prayers and talked to me for about 20 min about the meaning of life and the mechanisms of our reality. I was STUNNED, and AFTER AN HOUR I FINALLY came to. Upon regaining consciousness, He proceeded to laugh and say “oh you’re hungry huh”. At this point he told me my pizza had 10 minutes left until it was ready. Had I requested a pizza? What was the purpose of my existence at this point, anyways? He ushered me into the platonic ideal of a pizza shop, and once arrived I asked what had been happening. The owner's wife greeted me, and did not attempt to assault me. The Saviour himself refused what little money I had on my person, and furnished to me a pizza beyond comprehension. Time distorted, and I found God. I have never had an experience like this at ANY restaurant or pizzeria or ANYWHERE. They were even willing to give me a permanent residence at their restaurant with unlimited pizzas for the rest of my life. THEY WERE VERY UNAGGRESSIVE AND THREATENED TO CALL ME THEIR SON. 5/5.Kid-friendliness: Y'all ready know.“

“Good small Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff though small so I imagine things will get backed up on a busy night. I had the lasagna which was good but had the common problem of being soaked with sauce and cheese and turning into a gooey heap. Dunno maybe some people like that. Came out piping hot though. I would come back but probably try something else.“
