“Our family has been a patron of Gogi Korean Steakhouse (formerly Wafu) since inception in 2019. We have dined there at least 25 times in the period 2019-2023. (Wafu/Westport opened in 2019 and was owned by the 4 founders of "Tuck Gin" + Simon & Elaine Chen of Westport. The quality of food went down during Covid. In 2022, Wafu/Westport closed temporarily. The restaurant was re-opened later in 2022, this time with Simon & Elaine Chen as owners and managers. Oh, what a difference the change in ownership brought about!) GOGI LOREAN STEAKHOUSE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL! Simon & Elaine refined the menu, keeping what were originally the best selections and making them even better. Also, I am not sure if it was the manager or the chef ( wearing chefs hat) but he came out two times to make sure everything was OK and actually swapped out one soup for another because it was hard for my 92 year old to swallow ( no fault of soup as it looked delicious and she agreed (cheese in soup)
