“I’ve been all over the South and have had BBQ everywhere I’ve went. This place is as good as it gets. Everything is great but the highlight of the menu is the Carolina Chopped BBQ. Top 3 BBQ dish I’ve ever had. Heavenly.I wanted to share a story about this place. We were in the mood for BBQ on a random weekday night. We had four big hungry guys and I wanted to try the then new Home Plate BBQ so naturally I ordered a massive feast. Big Daddy himself hand delivered the food up the hills of Stony Point. As he handed me the big bags, he thanked me and told me how much he valued my order that day because they hadn’t been terribly busy at the time (a few years ago). I never forgot that gesture. Since then I’ve recommended it via word of mouth so many times and I realized I never wrote a review. I’m glad to see this place has become a staple of North Rockland. This place is the real deal.“
“Great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Stopped in last night while in the area. Brisket is one of their feature foods, so I had to try the 140 Grand sandwich. Nicely prepared brisket, thick slice on this signature menu item. Just the right touches of flavors. Pair with a featured tap beverage or signature cocktail and you have a great selection“
“Really good food. You get buffet style and then you pay by the weight. But i get to pick from so many Ecuadorean dishes that like. I wish i had a place like this in NYC but definitely recommend for the good food and price. I paid $20 for plate, soup and soda. Too much food had to take it to go.“
“The best BBQ on NY. Love this place have been going there for over 16 years now. They have the best wings I've ever had in my life I even dream about them sometimes. They have more than just BBQ options. Make sure you go check them out if you like good food.Vegetarian options: They do have salads and other vegetarian options.“
“Greeters are kind. Brand new place, clean, corn bread was delicious, so was the yams. Waiter was attentive.Only thing I would say is to not have staff drinking refreshments by the bar. There was a staff member extremely too close to another one, which is inappropriate, personal space is key in the workplace.“

“My family absolutely love your food. They have been getting food from your establishment since it first opened they know the original owners. The chicken, rice and vegetable dish had a great presentation, great favor and cooked very well. We've haven't eaten there was get takeout. The restaurant is clean and organized. Staff is friendly. “We had an amazing experience. We took the Rodizio Brazilian dining experience and got a TON of great tasting meats with plenty of sides too. The staff was very kind and walked us through an introduction to great tequila tasting which was a first for us. Highly recommend it. The roasted pineapple for dessert was a great discovery as well.“
“Let's begin with a shootout to the waitress Allison. She was amazing waitress gave great recommendations and was not a hovering waitress! If your coming for bbq expect good traditional backyard bbq. They have some creative starters/appetizers like their texas lollipops and their Mac n Cheese egg rolls which were simple but good. Overall having their bbq chicken and rib combo, the best way to describe it is exactly how I said it, as tradition backyard bbq. “Amazing bbq, cool corner restaurant with southern charm, not a lot of sitting available, however in warmer days they do offer outside sitting. The menu offers great bbq classics such as brisket, pulled pork, bbq wings, ribs etc. We ordered a platter for two that came with an assortment of meats plus 2 delicious sides. I must say please get the corn bread, it was to die for. No full bar menu but they do offer a small assortment of beers and wine. We went on a Sunday and there was a short wait to get a table as the place was filled with large groups mostly families with kids. Parking is a bit of a headache but it’s worth the bit of struggle. Service was excellent, no complaints. Overall it was a great experience, definitely give this place a try.“

“Visited Rick's Club American for a friend's birthday celebration, and I must say the food was good. It was better than I thought it would be. There were a variety of menu options and we tried alot of them. The waitress we had was very attentive to our needs. The place itself had a bar and many drink options, a very relaxed vibe. We tried the calamari, chips and artichoke dip, bbq ribs, bbq chicken, fried chicken wings, bbq chicken wings, cornbread and more. Would recommend and would return.“
“AMAZING! Customer service and food quality was 5/5 stars!I ordered lunch for my office and each one of us was able to eat a dinner sized portion for under $10 a person! I called and spoke with a really nice gentlemen, who was super nice and helpful when it came to choosing what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering a family combo (beef ribs, pork ribs, and chicken) with rice and beans and a whole chicken with veggies and fries. It fed 7 people with some food still left for another 2 people. Will definitely be returning!“
