“My friend and I caught up over a delicious meal here! I picked the mushroom sundubu and she picked the tteokbokki - both portions were mighty generous. We were seated promptly despite a busy Sunday lunch crowd and our food came swiftly after ordering. The handsome waiter pulled the smoothest move ever by taking my card after I asked to pay for my table (when my friend was in the bathroom) then when she fought for the bill, he took her card too and normalcy returned. But then he returns moments later with the bill on my card! Deeeefinitely smooth and saved us the growing Asian debacle of who's paying LOL. I forgot to take his name but he was the one with the light brown wood colored glasses - bravo.“

“I was trying to find a barbecue chicken spot for my mom. We did not know it was Korean fried chicken but we we were pleasantly surprised. My mom had the wings with a sweet sauce and I had the hot & spicy sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious. I look forward to trying more sauces next time I visit.“

“Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. “Authentic Japanese grilled meats!! Very tasty with their different cuts and the meats come with juicy tenderness. The flame is what makes the extra grill taste to the meats! Desserts like the s'mores roasting over open flame is just so much fun with kids! Highly recommend this Japanese Grill! The service was superb with their staffs! “Found on a google search. Nice to have some good barbecue in the burbs. I stopped in for a late lunch. Too hungry to make decisions so I asked the owner/host/chef/cashier for suggestions. He was very friendly and fun to talk with. The pork belly was incredible, as he suggested. Ribs and pulled pork was good. Mac and cheese was a bit bland. I should have asked for extra sauces.“

“Mickey's Oasis in Scarsdale is a hidden gem for BBQ lovers. Food truck on the side of the road with outdoor seating adds to the charm. The smoked BBQ here is top-notch, with smoky ribs, pulled pork, and mouthwatering brisket. The prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly. Definitely need to return to try their chicken and burgers. Mickey's Oasis is a must-visit for delicious BBQ in a outdoor setting.“

“Hit the right spot.Was searching the area looking for a new place to try and came upon this place. Looked interesting and I wanted to try it - was glad I did.The menu is smaller, but enough and great choices. I settled on the brisket empanadas for an appetizer. I honestly could've eaten a bucket of these as they were that good. The 'nada sauce was fine, but you don't need it either.They have a good drink selection and had Mexican Coke (and Sprite)! If you haven't ever tried Mexican Coke, I'd strongly recommend it. Superior to American Coke for sure.For the main course, I went with the reliable burger - in this case, the 'house double'(w/ a side). I added bacon, because why not. Burger was very tasty and something I'd easily have again, though there were enough options on the menu that I'd also love to try.Alana was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a pleasure. Simply outstanding all around.The place is small, but comfortable. 3 booths and several tables - a bar if you want to sit there. Several TVs as well.There is another location in New Rochelle (the first one actually).Parking is metered street. There is a 2 hour limit on the meters (that only accepts quarters), so make sure you keep track. There's also an app, but I didn't download it.Place is nice and one I intend to return to. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend it.“

For the folks who worked in the New York telephone Co. at the Westchester Square office, the ribs and wings are the same as they were back then….The “more” part of the menu!!!!!!!! The collards are amazing! These greens give Melba’s and Sylvia’s a run for their money. The candied yams are way better and for dessert the fried raspberry cheesecake is an OMG! Let’s beg them to come back to the Bronx!!!!! The best thing about the new owners is the welcoming manner in which the greet you; mother and son both have the most beautiful smiles which make you feel like you’re home! Love this place!!!!!“

“It was not like I remembered. Food is mediocre at best. Ceasar salad was just a cold salad, no pop. Porterhouse steak over priced and very underwhelming. Brussel sprouts were the best part of the meal. Benjamin steakhouse would probably be a better bang for my buck.Parking: Cross County Mall. Plenty of parking.“

“Amazing bbq, cool corner restaurant with southern charm, not a lot of sitting available, however in warmer days they do offer outside sitting. The menu offers great bbq classics such as brisket, pulled pork, bbq wings, ribs etc. We ordered a platter for two that came with an assortment of meats plus 2 delicious sides. I must say please get the corn bread, it was to die for. No full bar menu but they do offer a small assortment of beers and wine. We went on a Sunday and there was a short wait to get a table as the place was filled with large groups mostly families with kids. Parking is a bit of a headache but it’s worth the bit of struggle. Service was excellent, no complaints. Overall it was a great experience, definitely give this place a try.“

“I live upstairs from the deli but that doesn't make me biased thay have really good sandwiches I have had both hot and cold sandwiches... The first sandwich I had from them was a grilled chicken on a roll it was good then I had Honey turkey on a wedge it was very good but then I had a breakfast sandwich yesterday and it was probably the best Bacon Sausage egg & cheese I have ever had the roll was grilled on both sides it was well cooked and seasoned I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich the most.“

It was succulent, fairly spicy, and was a good quantity. The beef galbi was good, too, but not as flavorful, not as much, and much more expensive. “I came here looking for mangoVille which was a spot i used to visit a few years back but I was pleasantly surprised that the name was changed but they served the same kind of food. The inside of the store was a bit empty probably due to the fact that I came there in the late evening but the inside was very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. I got a small order of oxtails with rice and peas and steamed vegetables to go. The price was a bit steep at $15 but everyone knows oxtails is really expensive. I took the food back to my room poured myself a drink and I began to feast the first bite my taste buds went wild not too sweet not too spicy just right. The meal I ordered was delicious and I will definitely try other options on the menu I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for some nice Caribbean food to dine on.“
