“I've found several decent BBQ places closer to me in Rockland and Bergen, but Smoke Shack is on another level. Get the brisket and ribs with sauce on the side, taste them straight up, and recognize what you're dealing with here: some of the best BBQ in the area -- unquestionably the best I've encountered -- and if it seems too far, let me assure you, it's worth the trip. Just got back from a repeat visit.Vegetarian options: Their Beyond Burger is "almost as good as yours", according to my suddenly very polite wife.“
“Today, I visited Meet Moot and was captivated by its ambiance. The sophisticated furniture and stylish lighting fixtures created a delightful atmosphere. The beef ribs and lamb shank were exceptional—so tender and juicy! However, our experience started confusingly. The ordering process was disorganized and there was no one to welcome or guide incoming customers.Despite Meet Moot's potential for an excellent dining experience, it was marred by inconsistent service. For a premium price, I expect a higher standard of dining.“
“The charcoal grilled half chicken was so delicious, moist & flavorful. Meg’s corn concoction & collard greens were delicious. What an awesome place with friendly service & fair prices. Such a nice change of pace for dining options. I was also talking to a customer who had the brisket meal with coleslaw & mac cheese which he said was amazing. I would highly recommend right off Rt 23.“
“I Love this place! Ever since moving to the area this has been my go to for a quick & always delicious, satisfying meal. Chicken cutlets are homemade & particularly good. It’s a cozy , decidedly & charmingly old- fashioned grill/ eatery reminiscent of bygone jersey days. It’s a vibe all it’s own.“
“Honestly I only caught the place for the last hour of the night but I had fun and most importantly actually got that after work drink i was craving. Glad there are a few places open after the regular bar scene or staff (from other bars) would have nowhere to go and sit for one.“
“If you love smoked food, Kanoon is the place for you. The ambiance is very cozy, and we especially enjoyed the complimentary starters. The food overall was good, and we received excellent service from Izzy, Hassan, and Johnelle. Thank you again. It was the perfect place to celebrate my husband's birthday!“
“This place is awesome! Plenty of assorted appetizers to please all. Had the pierogi with kielbasa very satisfying and then the wings which were not batter dipped but with a spicy rub and those were delicious, crispy and yet juicy inside! Service is on point! Atmosphere very friendly and very local Sinagac crowd! Definitely a repeat!“
“I only gave the Atmosphere a 4 cause I haven't had a drink in here yet however, I did have the philly cheesesteak, the chicken tender platter and the nacho with Chilli and boy I tell you the food is on point so I can imagine the drinks. Customer service is awesome aswell I will definitely be coming back and forth when I'm in the area.Parking: Plenty available parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious ramp right in the front, very convenient.“
“If you don’t want to drive all the way to Newark for authentic Portuguese food, Tino’s is the place! The shrimp garlic is soooo good. Beef ribs, clams in garlic hit the spot. I’ve tried Portugalo BBQ and they don’t compare. If you want real, delicious Portuguese authentic flavors, go straight to Tinos BBQ & Grill.“
“My frist time there all was good, but this time just Wow. The steak was very under cooked and very over seasoned. The amount of peper was enough for 4 steaks. The service was rushed. Got dinner before we finished the appetizers. The dessert tasted old. Not sure if I will give it another try ! Sad because the frist time I was amazed.Well tried it again and food and service was very good. Will try again and update it . Maybe last time just had wrong cook and serve“
“Yummy food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and allergy concerns.Dietary restrictions: They are good for gluten sensitiveParking: They have a small lot at the restaurant, and then there is a town lot about a block away that is also free“
“I'd like to start by saying I grew up eating traditional Peruvian food cooked by my grandmother. The chaufa de pollo was delightful, fresh, and a great portion. I enjoyed their yellow sauce on the side as well. Flavorful, fresh, and well balanced chaufa. Better than what I expected based on the reviews. I would recommend This dish.“
“I stop in every once in a while when I’m craving Jamaican food and this is my only stop. The quality of the food and the flavor is fantastic. The owner himself is a very humble and welcoming individual.I would recommend this spot to anybody wanting to try Jamaican food.“
“Haven't been here in over a decade so I decided to stop in for lunch today. $14.26 got me 4 piece jumbo fried shrimp and 2 BBQ Raleigh ribs. Shrimp was great, served with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. I wouldn't call them jumbo but normal sized nd butterflied. The ribs had a thin bark to them, great smoky flavor and fall off the bone ready, sauce wasn't too sweet. They actually gave me 3! This small take out place has 6 seats while you wait and a refrigerator case of drinks. Sharon at the register was friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: Salads and sidesParking: Plenty of open spots up front“
“Our first hot pot, and we all loved it. Took a minute to figure out the process, but everything was delicious, our kids had a ton of fun, and ate everything. FYI, the spice level is accurate! I ordered the spicy broth, and it was actually spicy, which was really nice. Good times.“
“While I normally do not like ribs —even the McRib— I am so glad I took a chance on Tim. I never knew ribs could taste so delicious. The meat was so tender I could pull it off with my teeth or my fingers. I will definitely buy from here again.“
