“I have really loved going there. The only complain would be the side salad. The Caesar dressing is awful and they have no ranch dressing. The steaks are good, but we are from Kansas City, so there's that. The meatloaf and other meals have been very good and we go on a fairly regular basis.“

There was a real variety of clientele from dates to families to a private event going on in their wine room (well-separated from the restaurant, just got a peek). “This is my second time here and I absolutely love this Restsurant. Everything we had was delicious. Starting with the coconut margarita with real chunks of coconut. They were delicious. We had the guacamole., empanadas and fish tacos which were awesome. My husband got the pork chop and I am not even a pork chop person but this was cooked to perfection and it was delicious. This is my new favorite place to go in Stamford.“

“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“

Great liquor selection as well as beer and other beverage selection they are open till 3 AM and always have great music you can play games at the bar and they have a great selection of things to eat and the kitchen is open super late as well which is really great especially after long concerts at the Capitol theater this is always a great place you don’t have to rush to get out and eat some thing. “I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“
“Excellent Local Bar in the heart of Stamford with friendly Staff and Patrons. A great place to come watch all the sports, they always have the sound on, including all european Soccer, Rugby and even the Dart championships & Golf of a Sunday. Excellent parking but I never recommend driving as I often stay longer than anticipated. Regulars play great music on the Jukebox and I think late on Fridays/Saturdays they have a DJ. All in all a great bar- everyone makes you feel at home.“

Why are white Christmas lights blinking in the windows at the end of January? I wish they would update the interior of the restaurant to give it a less dated look to match the oh SO delicious food. I'll still make reservations there, but hope they plan a remodel in the near future.“

“Recent JGB show, inspired my first review. Capital always does a nice job with crowds, you get inside quickly, Garcias has good drinks and beers, and great staff. Parking can be a challenge, but the lot near the train station always seems to have the kind spot. The local beer garden is worth it, for a little pre-game. For our Christmas gathering we got two large trays of chicken marsala & eggplant rollatini which were phenomenal. The amount of food was incredible for the price! We were able to feed our party of 10 plus leftovers for everyone. Added plus was the incredible garlic knots! Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond!“
