“Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich. I travel all over CT for work and have had many bacon egg and cheese sandwiches at various places. This is hands down one of the best bacon egg and cheese I've had. Some places use microwave bacon (gross) but everything here was fresh and tastes great. 2 sandwiches for 10$. Not a bad deal. Only down side is parking is limited.“
“We love the chicken pesto panini is a must when we got out for competitions, and bacon ? egg ? and cheese on the roll, and the cheese and steak onions with jalapenos is delicious. ? and they support the community.Kid-friendliness: I have my five-year-old eating a sandwich and no problems.“
“We stopped by this place for breakfast on the way to Cape Cod. It was a perfect meal - seriously incredible pancakes (get the maple syrup for extra!), crispy homefries, tasty omelette with buttery toast. We loved the pancakes so much that we ordered a second round but with blueberries.“
“Simply the best Italian food. Been going there for 27 years - consistent quality and service. The broccoli rabe is unbeatable. And the people who own the place are salt-of-the-earth. Great food, great service. And now, given Covid, it’s a great time to try it - support small business!“
“We ordered breakfast catering from Makerie for our staff at La Jolie Salon. Kirsten was so accommodating and friendly. She delivered the food hot and right on time. The food was delicious and our staff loved it! We will definitely be using the Makerie for many more events in the future!“
“Chris is a good guy. The place is very nice. Chris has bailed me out a few times with the extras he has in the store & saved me another trip to a store for certain items. His food is great! I tried meatballs today!!! I’m usually not one to try certain things. They were REALLY GOOD & SO IS THE SAUCE!! Lentil soup is delicious, tuna, breakfast etc etc. This is such a great neighborhood place!!“
“So we threw a party at our home last weekend 8/13/22. I ordered 2 three foot wedges one was a turkey club the other was pepperoni salami peppers and pesto mayo. They were so delicious and fresh and totally spot on. You must order from here. My guests asked where I got these and I gave them their number. So great. Amicis you’re the best!!!“
“Every Tuesday I take my daughter to the Bellefair Kitchen for her after school chicken tenders and french fries meal before she attends her art class. Marco and his staff are so delightful who adds a touch of gold by putting on children's Netflix show's of my daughters choice. My favorite food choice is the Marco Pollo sandwich. If you're looking for a quick bite or snack come on over to the Bellefair Kitchen. Tell them Adam sent you!“
“I moved here from Long Island and haven’t really been able to find a deli comparable to the ones there. I was so surprised with this place I called right after I ate my sandwich to let them know how good it was. Sliced thin cold cuts and fresh bread! Finally a place that knows how to do it right in this area! Highly recommend. Such a gem!“
“I've been coming to Fratelli market since I was a kid and it's always one of my favorite spots for authentic Italian food! It's a deli style hole in the wall that will definitely blow your mind once you try their delicious food! They also have gluten-free pasta which is delish!“
“Rockridge Fan Poem:If you want to start the day off right,Rockridge breakfast will bring you to the light.A Kaiser roll with the egg and bacon,Will truly get your heart shakin! With an Island coconut coffee on the side,So good you better open your mouth up wide!TLDR: Best breakfast in NY for a great price, coffee was awesome,“
“I went here and purchased an American Combo grinder to go Wednesday. The staff is friendly, and the grinder is was excellent. I called ahead and my order was ready on time. The American combo consisted of ham, roast beef, in turkey with American cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a grinder roll. The roast beef was possibly the best I ever had- it was tasty and tender.I am very happy with my decision to go here.“
“Great food for the money. I have found myself going back to try more and more items finding them all to be great and that’s why bc the place is always busy. Free parking make carrying out easy and convenient to stop at for lunch. Try 39 and grilled chicken with marinara on a wedge!Parking: In back or along side easy peasy !!“
“Classic Italian deli reminiscent of Little Italy in The Bronx. The breakfast sandwiches are top notch. My go to is bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and the bacon is usually cooked to perfection and very generous. Today was no exception. Also for lunch I ordered London broil style roast beef on a hero with jack cheese and tomato. Looks great.“
“We recently tried Enzo's OG Deli and it was a delightful experience. The wraps were made fresh and flavorful and the variety of options was impressive. The staff was friendly and accomodating, making the ordering process a breeze.Overall a great spot for a quick and tasty bite to eat.“
“Nice little local spot. I stopped along at work for extra breakfast, the bacon egg and cheese on a roll is heaven on earth. The roll was so fresh it was soft on my teeth. Eggs are runny as they should be and bacon was crispy in a good way not a hard time. The price of things is not bad at all for Greenwich if I must say. Staff is polite nothing fancy to see here with decor, families or women to hang out but it’s a no frills old school type of local spot.“
“Great little deli! The owner is a fantastic guy. I live right down the street, and he has all the little things you could ask for. Made to order sandwiches, sodas, ice-cream, milk, butter... and so much more. Sometimes I run out of an ingredient while cooking, and he has it, saving me a trip to the grocery store for one small item. Great resource for a great neighborhood.“
“I have always driven up Hope Street and gone past this deli. Well, this week I finally stopped in. I ordered a chicken cutlet (My go-to deli sandwich) on a wedge with cheese, tomatoes and ketchup and mayo. First things first: they made a QUALITY QUALITY sandwich. The cutlet has a nice crisp to it, and was not dry but juicy. The breading was not overwhelming but just right. The cheese, bacon , tomato all meshed well. Nothing was too loose or too messy. Second the customer service was great. A great atmosphere to walk into. Its always nice when you are greeted by a smile, conversation and to see that person behind the counter is actually enjoying themselves.I went back again to try out their meatball parm. On. The. Money. The meatballs are fresh and REAL. I am simple so I did not doctor this particular sandwich up much, but it was good for me and can be for you too.I recommend Ron's Deli if you want a great sandwich, great service, great prices. They will be seeing more of me thats for sure!“
“My beau, Tom, and I have been ordering from Rinaldi’s Deli of Stamford since working at home. What a Godsend Rinaldi’s is! Tom’s sandwich is fresh and tasty; my salads are fresh and tasty. Carol who takes the order is pleasant and efficient. The delivery person delivers the food literally with a smile. Cannot say enough good things about these people and their business. Five stars!“
“Was that just the best Reuben that I've ever had in my life? I don't think I remember one as good. I haven't put my finger on whether it was the dressing the sauerkraut or the meat, but it was unbelievably delectable ..I will travel out of my way to come here!“
“Ate here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Most people got food to go while we were there, but you can dine-in. They have more seating around the corner, but they only opened half of the front part. High chairs are available-they were around the corner, not in plain view. It wasn't on the menu, but they were able to make a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a roll for my partner. My partner enjoyed the sandwich. I had a breakfast burrito with long slices of chorizo. I liked that the burrito was grilled so the outside was crispy. It would have been better if the cheese was more evenly distributed and there were too many potatoes for my preference. But still a solid and filling burrito. I could only finish half of it. Staff were friendly and nice.“
“If you find yourself in Greenwich, and want to pay NYC prices for fresh food, stop by Debra Ponzek's cafe. This location may be her first. I've always liked their hazelnut coffee, and today met my standard. The White Meat Green Goddess chicken salad offered small pieces of chicken in a dressing that surprised you with bits of tarragon and watercress. I didn't closely read the label of the chickpea side salad and was pleasantly surprised by the Roquefort cheese. It provided a tang to an otherwise "to be expected" side. The portions are small, yet together the two made a perfect meal. Most everything is self service and the empty hazelnut carafe was quickly replaced. The staff had few smiles to share, and maybe the gray day was the reason. Given that it's Greenwich, the staff may have been tired by an exhausting clientele. Sitting outside to eat and read is lovely, and there are tables with umbrellas that can handle quite a few for lunch.“
