D’Angelo’s in Vernon, CT. just made one of the worst menu decisions I’ve ever seen. The Rice & Grain Bowls — the items that actually made you different from every other sandwich shop — are gone. The Southwest and Korean BBQ bowls were incredible, and the matching sandwiches were just as good. Now all of them have been removed. We already have plenty of sub shops. What made D’Angelo’s special was the bowls. Without them, you’re just another sandwich place in a sea of sandwich places.
I used to give you five stars. Now it’s one.
Bring back the Rice & Grain Bowls — this “menu experiment” is a huge mistake.”

“Long Gut Miss Pinny is such a hidden gem in Manchester. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was even better. Everything tasted super fresh and homemade. It’s run by a mother and daughter, and you can really tell how much care goes into the food. The mac and cheese was so good, the Jamaican patties were perfectly flaky, and the pepper shrimp had the perfect amount of spice. The chicken soup with pumpkin was comforting and flavorful, and the oxtail and curry chicken were absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to. Highly recommend checking it out.”

“The service is incredible, Madison helped me understand all the allergies and recommended some cookies for me to try, while doing all of this it looked like she was alone but didn't rush me and let me take the time I needed. After I ordered and she went to get my cookies it looked like she was doing everything behind the counter at once and it looked fantastic. Will come back again”

For many of us, this was our first time dining at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and our server, Tian, went above and beyond to make it memorable. He warmly interacted with everyone at the table, guided us through the ordering process, and even prepared several dishes right at our table, allowing us to try a wide variety of options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, leaving everyone fully satisfied. “We visited Mario’s for the first time on Friday Feb 27th after seeing a Facebook ad for their fish and chips dinner. We were beyond surprised and very pleased with the entire experience. The fish and chips was the best we have had, the waitress was very attentive and friendly. Although the place is small it was super busy with lots of take out orders but that didn’t affect the dining room orders coming out in a timely fashion. We most definitely will be visiting again real soon to see what other delicious choices they have on their menu. Great job Mario see you again soon.”

“I’ve been here countless times and the food is consistently very good. The servers are always friendly too. Tonight I sat at the bar after a class and ordered grinders for takeout. Absolutely THE best grinders we’ve had in forever. My veggie and cheese grinder was LOADED with veggies! My husband’s grinder had so much nest he could have created 2 more grinders. “Cozy Thai restaurant to indulge in some delicious Asian food. Food were delicious and service was excellent. Portion can be shared with two. We ordered the drunken noodles ( Fantastic ) shrimp and crab fried rice ( mind blowing) orange chicken which was served with steamed rice ( nice and sweet ). Food were made to perfection and from the reception to departure we truly enjoyed it and were well served. Great work. Keep up ..”

“Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯”
