“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

“Phenomenal Greek pizza. As a Midwesterner in CT this brings me right back home. Inexpensive and delicious pizza that has a little more heft to it than New Haven (which I also love). Their baked ziti and calzones are also highly recommended. Friendly service and unbeatable prices.

Parking: It’s in a plaza with an Ace Hardware so there’s tons of off-street parking in the lot.“

“My family basically took over the dining room yesterday for 2 hours. Our server Nicole was phenomenal. Not only did she take care of our party of 30+?, but also the bar and any other customer that came in. The atmosphere was cozy and she made us feel right at home. Such large parties can be challenging, but Nicole made it look easy.“

A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . “I am in love with this place. The pizza, the burgers, the Alfredo pasta. Since I order online for delivery, there's an app called slice they use but it's so limited with their menu. I really wish when ordering Alfredo pasta I could choose pasta other than ziti or spaghetti. I'm a penne and angel hair fan. On the in person menu there's an Alfredo dish that comes with broccoli and chicken. When you order from the slice app you can add chicken but I have to request broccoli and hope they see the note. Other than that issue this place has great food.“

“I was a little taken back at first but the setup just adds to the atmosphere of this place. The people were fast, attentive and the meatball calzone was soooo good. Huge calzone! I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. It tastes like it was made fresh as well as the pizza sauce. Delicious!“

“3 of us went, it was my first time going there. The waitress was very accommodating. We ordered a meat lovers pizza 🍕. BACON, PEPPERONI, HAMBURG. Let me tell you when that pizza came to the table, I was in Awe. Looked like a piece of Artwork. Taste was unbelievable. I am very picky, and very rarely patronize a establishment twice. This pizza place will be the only one I go to from now on. We took home 3 pieces, and a real first happened. I was walking pass the kitchen, saw my roommate eating pizza at the kitchen table. Big smile on his face. He left me one slice. That's fine with me, because when the restaurant opens up, I'm going to order another pizza 🍕 today. Bottom line, if you are looking for a delicious pizza 🍕, go to Vito's Pizza House. They have been open since 1978, 46 years, should tell you something. Oh, by the way, they are closed on Wednesday.
