“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . They all said this was some of the best pizza they had ever had, absolutely loved the garlic knots, and they all tried to steal my ham grinder. It seems the new owners do not understand English well...if at all. They looked at my wife with an empty gaze when she asked any question. Since we do not speak Spanish at all well, we are at an impasse; we can't go here anymore.

All the serving people who we used to know are gone. It's not friendly to these two seniors who've lived here all our lives.

Greek style pizza, grinders, Italian pasta favorites, nice Greek salad w/gyro.

Try the clams casino pizza and the meatballs and sausage parmesan grinder.

The guy (Z Milagros) in his review must have some other place in mind - all the sandwiches are made to order, here, and heated in their wonderful ovens - I don't think they even have a microwave on the premises.“

“We were so pleased to visit Vito's after a few years' absence. We used to dine there almost every Friday when we lived in the area. Carol Ann welcomed us like old times. Jonathan did a great job of recreating my favorite basil martini that Linda perfected years ago. Our meal, punctuated by treats from the family farm, was excellent. Our service by Abby was terrific. The zucchini flowers appetizer impeccably balanced the tender flowers and tasty cheese. My husband's roasted cod and summer vegetables were great as was my Veal Milanese. The Pecorino wine was dry but refreshing. House-made ricotta pie was just right - subtle cheese flavor and not too sweet. We need to come back soon!“

“I can’t say enough about Tommy’s Pizza Palace Vasili’s Greek Everything salad dressing!! I first came upon it at a craft show at Wadsworth mansion! It’s so delicious that it has become my mission to drive from Stamford to Middletown to pick it up! I grabbed two bottles on 8/17 and made the mistake of sharing with my family so I have to go back this week for more! I can’t wait for it to hit a local store near me!
