“Great spot we found after the dog adoption event in pound ridge. Really nice people, super friendly service. Breads and pastries are quite delicious. Be forewarned, they are only open Thursday thru Sunday. Next time we are around, we will definitely be back.“

“I'm so thrilled about this gem! Everything Fatto a Mano makes is from heart! I can feel the passion in all the bakery here. The sourdough, Focaccia, biscotti, Riccia (we call it lobster tail), bread stick, etc. cannot get enough. I wanted to mention biscotti especially, as it was not my thing in the past. But now it's my favorite! Must try if you are in Westport CT area!“

“Quick appreciation post to Cobs Bread on High Ridge Road. My 2 year old son went in earlier and took a VERY long time to pick out what he wanted. The young lady helping us was so patient and kind with him. Once he picked out his treat, she told us that it was on her. So amazing. The young lady was wearing a Stamford High Mask. Hoping this reaches her parent or boss, what a wonderful young lady and amazing customer service! ❤️“

“Angela Topi took the time from her busy day and treated us to the most wonderful variety of delicious store baked delicacies including the scrumptious chocolate covered cream puff❤️ May I also add my husband (who cant tolerate gluten) has no issues with Wave Hills miche? Incredible! We recommend Wave Hill Breads for all of your baked good needs ❤️“

“Super friendly staff. I was interested in the difference between the 3 loaves they had yesterday and the lady was so nice and knowledgeable explaining what I'd get in terms of taste and texture between the 3 different ancient grains(or combo thereof) in the loaves.
Needless to say I bought a loaf, which was delicious. I also ordered a daily special sandwich which was great.
Would absolutely recommend a stop if you're in the area, I'll definitely be coming back.“

“My husband and I stopped into the Painted Cookie recently and we LOVED it! The owner is so sweet and friendly-made us feel welcomed as soon as we entered. She also let us sample some treats which was beyond kind. We're so happy to have found this cookie shop with options for my dairy free husband too!“

“Came in today, I was greeted by a very sweet manager. All the staff was lovely. Very attentive. I went in there thinking I was going to get one pastry and a coffee. But I ended up sitting down and ordering a whole meal! Well worth it. Lox toast with avocado A++“

“A Stamford gem. Fresh hot bagels, local flavor every time you go. Friendly staff and quick service . The owner there making sure all customers are satisfied and being well taken care of including the little kids who come in with their parents.
The line usually out the door goes quickly and I regularly run into people I know.“

“Springdale bakery is on to something! Their bread is ridiculously good. I placed an order and it was on my doorstep the next morning, freshly baked. It reminds me of the crazy good bread you get for breakfast in Europe. We have so far eaten it toasted with butter and honey and with split pea soup.I’ve got all kinds of crazy ideas for this bread…including toasting it and crumbling it on top of Mac and cheese.Already placed my next order. This will become a staple.“
“They are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, I had been looking all around town asking if they could please do a Minecraft design as a square cupcake, everyone said no can't do it. I called Manny's Bakery I didn't even know they were there, I always thought is was a convenience store, spoke to Manny himself, he said email me the picture let's see what we can do. After reviewing the picture he was like we can't make the cupcake look square it's usually round, so I asked what if you can make it a square cake and then cut it into 30 individual pieces and then decorate them and he said YES we can do that, mind you I had mentioned the same thing to all the other bakeries I had spoken to. I brought by the original Minecraft toy so they could get the colors correctly and everything turned out GREAT they made my son totally happy and the talk of his school. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them they went above and beyond to make this a special birthday“

“When they do it right a lot of their baked goods can be pretty good but sadly they are often over baked and dry. They have struggled to keep consistent staff and several of the new staff don't seem to listen to your order. Sandy is amazing, friendly and courteous. I will often let other people go ahead just to ensure she is the one helping me.“
