“Quick appreciation post to Cobs Bread on High Ridge Road. My 2 year old son went in earlier and took a VERY long time to pick out what he wanted. The young lady helping us was so patient and kind with him. Once he picked out his treat, she told us that it was on her. So amazing. The young lady was wearing a Stamford High Mask. “Super friendly staff. I was interested in the difference between the 3 loaves they had yesterday and the lady was so nice and knowledgeable explaining what I'd get in terms of taste and texture between the 3 different ancient grains(or combo thereof) in the loaves.
Needless to say I bought a loaf, which was delicious. I also ordered a daily special sandwich which was great.
Would absolutely recommend a stop if you're in the area, I'll definitely be coming back.“

“My husband and I stopped into the Painted Cookie recently and we LOVED it! The owner is so sweet and friendly-made us feel welcomed as soon as we entered. She also let us sample some treats which was beyond kind. We're so happy to have found this cookie shop with options for my dairy free husband too!“

“They are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, I had been looking all around town asking if they could please do a Minecraft design as a square cupcake, everyone said no can't do it. I called Manny's Bakery I didn't even know they were there, I always thought is was a convenience store, spoke to Manny himself, he said email me the picture let's see what we can do. After reviewing the picture he was like we can't make the cupcake look square it's usually round, so I asked what if you can make it a square cake and then cut it into 30 individual pieces and then decorate them and he said YES we can do that, mind you I had mentioned the same thing to all the other bakeries I had spoken to. I brought by the original Minecraft toy so they could get the colors correctly and everything turned out GREAT they made my son totally happy and the talk of his school. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them they went above and beyond to make this a special birthday“

“Springdale bakery is on to something! Their bread is ridiculously good. I placed an order and it was on my doorstep the next morning, freshly baked. It reminds me of the crazy good bread you get for breakfast in Europe. We have so far eaten it toasted with butter and honey and with split pea soup.I’ve got all kinds of crazy ideas for this bread…including toasting it and crumbling it on top of Mac and cheese.Already placed my next order. This will become a staple.“

“When they do it right a lot of their baked goods can be pretty good but sadly they are often over baked and dry. They have struggled to keep consistent staff and several of the new staff don't seem to listen to your order. Sandy is amazing, friendly and courteous. I will often let other people go ahead just to ensure she is the one helping me.“

“I love their bread, is guatemalan style but they also have a small menu of different dishes that you can order. I order a sandwich with chiles rellenos wich are stuff peppers with meat and veggies cover with egg batter and then fry, you can have as a plater too and I love it it was delicious. One thing I have to say, they do have sitting area but is on the small side.

Parking: It has its own parking area but is not to big, the bakery is popular so is always busy sometimes you get there and there is no parking spots available. You have to look for parking on the street, it is a busy street so sometimes is a bit difficult to find parking.“

“Dominicans and Latinos lil secret in norwalk. This location is hidden away in a little corner, if you drive pass it you will definitely miss it. You will have to enter a parking lot and then see it. Anyhow, I've been going to this place since I moved to norwalk. Great lunch prices and an array of choices. Fresh rice selection, meats and juices for you to select on. Buffet style. My go to place.“

These are the best gf cupcakes I've ever had and trust me, I've had a lot of GF desserts. Even my brother who can eat gluten said they dont taste gf, thats how good they are. “It was a Monday like a Sunday since it was a holiday. Quiet. I pass it every morning but never see a spot. Today easy peasy -there was no one on the road at 8:30 am. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations.
