“Raphael's Bakery is the absolute best! I was in town from NorCal and I stopped by to meet a friend in Greenwich. I had some time to kill so I started asking Charlotte about why my homemade sourdough bread wasn't successful. She called Raphael over who, while he didn't share his secret receipe, he helped me understand the reasons why my bread wasn't full of air and getting any "oven lift." They were both so gracious with their time and experience......I hope they will consider offering cooking classes at some point. Absolute class act people!“

All the employees have a true vocation and passion for helping customers. The manager, Ive, is always willing to help, even when she is very busy. I truly enjoy coming to this place!“

“Had a delightful lunch today at the 41st St location. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The dressing on the greens that comes with the sandwiches was to die for! Atmosphere was quaint and inviting. Staff was exceptionally attentive and polite even though it was busy! We can’t wait to go back!“

“I ordered a cake for my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen for August 14, 2021. I provided a picture of the design of what she wanted to the bakery, and spoke to the owner about making a few minor details. The cake came out absolutely beautiful! She was on point with every detail. It was delivered on time, and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend La Flor De Jalisco for all your special bakery needs or just to stop by and sample all their delicious treats. They are responsible, friendly and professional! I cant BELIEVE ive lived in Harrison for 25 years and never knew this amazing little nugget stayed open at night with a bubbly staff, the most amazing Sfiogatelle and coffee fresh and brewed to perfection…not too strong, not even slightly burnt! “So been here alot before i started writing reviews. In The Summer during the Thornwood car show, my parents and i can be seen eating their italian ices, which are very good. They also have cakes, pastries, and i believe i tasted my first almond horn from here, and it was good! Also once brought a pint to use for my 18th/Graduation party a few years ago. Inside, they do have chairs and tables where one can sit if they want.
Went here on Saturday August 10th 2024 while at the Thornwood car show with my parents. We were there to get italian ices. Staff was pleasant, and asked what we wanted right away. I got a Cotton Candy Italian ice, and my mom got lemon, and my dad got chocolate. We paid with cash, as they charge for using a credit card. Italian ices were very good! as we enjoyed them! We hope to be back soon!“

“Best Mexican tortas, right across from a hospital you will definitely get your moneys worth if you stop here for a meal. Prices are cheap you cant beat them. Mexican bread pan dulce also available you can have a beer with your meals. Street parking is the only issue“

“Springdale bakery is on to something! Their bread is ridiculously good. I placed an order and it was on my doorstep the next morning, freshly baked. It reminds me of the crazy good bread you get for breakfast in Europe. We have so far eaten it toasted with butter and honey and with split pea soup.I’ve got all kinds of crazy ideas for this bread…including toasting it and crumbling it on top of Mac and cheese.Already placed my next order. However, there’s no menu which is a little confusing. You just walk in and there’s a counter and you just asked what they have and they make you a plate. The oxtail was straight deliciousness. Tender, flavorful. The plate served was a large portion.“
