She called Raphael over who, while he didn't share his secret receipe, he helped me understand the reasons why my bread wasn't full of air and getting any "oven lift." They were both so gracious with their time and experience......I hope they will consider offering cooking classes at some point. Absolute class act people!“

“Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Brave the parking situation. DO IT, you will not regret it!“

“Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

“I stopped in because I was patronizing another business in this shopping area. I immediately amazed at all the different types of pastries here. Yes, it's pretty pricy but so worth it. I had the croissant donut, a sugar mochi donut and a strawberry pastry on a chocolate croissant, I can't remember the exact name but when I tell you I have been thinking about these ever since I tried them I am so serious! “Black Forest cake is one of my absolute favorite cakes and finding a bakery that makes a classic well is not easy. I’m so Glad my husband found a bakery that not only is named black forest but also bakes the most delectable Black Forest cakes I have ever had. This is my 2nd year getting my cake and the drive and price are well worth it! I look forward to going back again next year.“

“The atmosphere was really nice and there were a lot of seating (even though it was filled up because it was very busy). The girls at the counter were so efficient and kind.
The coffee was very good and the donut was absolutely delicious! The donut was the perfect size and the perfect treat if you're craving something small but sweet!
I also got a chocolate cake slice (not sure what it was called exactly) and two Italian rainbow cookies. Everything was incredible and very affordable!“

We got the almond danish and onion bread; danish was outstanding while the onion was average though we paid $24 for both so its pretty good value. Would come back again to try the jelly donut!“

Dietary restrictions: You can ask not to put extra salt in certain things and I find the soup is not salty. They’re pretty accommodating with everyone.“

“I’m so glad I found Flourish Baking Company! I needed cupcakes for my daughter’s daycare birthday celebration, and they had to be completely free of nuts, eggs, and other allergens.

The website was incredibly easy to use, and Diane even called to confirm a few details, which I really appreciated. They were also very accommodating with my preferred pickup date and time.

Most importantly, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious, something that’s not always guaranteed with allergy-friendly treats.

I would highly recommend Flourish Baking Company to anyone looking for safe and great-tasting baked goods!“
