“I was a kid going to this place, just about every sunday after church. The first bite is exactly as good as I remember. Must get a beef pattie with a cocoa bread. But now, they have the meat loaf (beef pattie filling directly in a cocoa bread😤). Don't forget a fresh carrot juice! MUST BRING CASH!!!“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Now there are truly great and consistent options in pastries and cakes that are excellent treats and for special occasions while being very accessible in this neighborhood. Looking forward to frequent this shop. Favs are coffee drinks, buns with Asian flare i.e. those with red bean and sweet potato fillings. Everything chocolate is excellent... My bias since I love chocolates😜. The Croissant donut is great. Fruit pastries are excellent too. The savory and cheesy items are also great. And the themed and seasonal items are inventive and cute, definitely worth trying. Cannot go wrong with PB's yummy treats 👍“

“Chef Nicholas was given the assignment of creating a replica of the Intrepid aircraft carrier for my birthday. Not only was it perfect in detail but became the centerpiece of my party with guests requesting to have their pictures taken behind it. Chef Nick, you have made the party greater than expected. “walked by this bakery when I was wandering around the Bronx and the cake display case caught my eye because they had such a great variety! we had a hard time deciding what slices to get and the clerk (who is also the wife of the cake whiz on the kitchen) was so nice and patient. she told us about how their business started and it's about to be two years at this retail location after years of running a cottage kitchen.

we got the chocoflan and tres leches slices and they were SO delicious! the chocoflan had a perfect ratio of choco cake and flan, and the choco cake was also moist (sometimes people make it too dry). the tres leches is creamy and dreamy and everything one would want in a tres leches.

“Burger Baby by Wonder absolutely exceeded my expectations! I had the truffle burger, and it was incredible perfectly cooked, so juicy, and packed with flavor. We tried the pistachio and cherry croissant, the almond croissant, the Nutella cookie, the potato bureka, and the cheese danish pastry. Every single thing was incredible but the pistachio and cherry croissant might have been the tastiest pastries I have ever eaten. 10/10 would recommend. “Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“
