The food is always well cooked tasty and up to standard not to mention there patties and coa bread 😋. big up to the chef I was a little early because I was heading to work and he made it possible so I could purchase my breakfast by putting out some ready food to choose from and big up the supervisor ur a wonder lady . “My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

"Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Brave the parking situation. DO IT, you will not regret it!“

“walked by this bakery when I was wandering around the Bronx and the cake display case caught my eye because they had such a great variety! we had a hard time deciding what slices to get and the clerk (who is also the wife of the cake whiz on the kitchen) was so nice and patient. she told us about how their business started and it's about to be two years at this retail location after years of running a cottage kitchen.

we got the chocoflan and tres leches slices and they were SO delicious! the chocoflan had a perfect ratio of choco cake and flan, and the choco cake was also moist (sometimes people make it too dry). the tres leches is creamy and dreamy and everything one would want in a tres leches.

It was reasonably priced too. My favorite has been the cream puff by far, got the chocolate mini Bundt cake (I think it was called a schnibble?) And it was super crumbly, not a huge fan. The lemon poppyseed mini Bundt was better, texture wise and flavor. Will be coming back to try more!! It seems to be a popular spot for cakes and they sell individual slices.“

We tried the pistachio and cherry croissant, the almond croissant, the Nutella cookie, the potato bureka, and the cheese danish pastry. Every single thing was incredible but the pistachio and cherry croissant might have been the tastiest pastries I have ever eaten. 10/10 would recommend. There is also entrance and exit ramps for wheel chairs and strollers.“
