“First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. Highly recommend you give them a try.“

“My husband and I LOVE this place! We have been coming here for over 8 years now and it is the best Chinese in the area by far!The original owner was a very nice man, always remembered his customers by name and was a staple of the restaurant. When he unfortunately passed, his family took over and they are just as wonderful. I come here from New York (I travel between the tri-state for work frequently), and he always makes me feel welcome when I return. It can be a few months before he sees me again, but he remembers not only me, but my go-to order as well.The food is just as great as the people! Closest thing to NYC Chinese food I have found outside of NYC.“

“3rd. Time at Mercato. Food is good. Problem is the music! If you want to eat and relax, forget it! If you are 15 and like loud disco type music, this is your place. They need some relaxing jazz, Opera, Sinatra etc. However picked the music for an Italian Restaurand, knows nothing about a relaxing atmosphere!!!!“

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“The service was fantastic. We were debating between two different wines so they gave us a sample of each to make the choice easier. The mussels were amazing as well as the pork chop and black cod. It got quite noisy but it was a Saturday night and to be expected. We had the sticky pudding for dessert which I highly recommend. It was a lovely dinner and so special having dishes that I would never prepare at home. A delightful evening!!“

If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. “Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“Reverie continues to be a top contender for our favorite craft brewery in CT. Today was another great visit…the 5th anniversary of Reverie’s existence. The live music was great, the beer was great, the souvenir pub glasses were great, the staff is always great, and our group of 8 had a great time! “This was a wonderful experience for my stepson and I. Christy was probably the nicest waitress I have encountered in my life. Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him. Fairly priced, amazing atmosphere, they deserve all the extra recognition they've been getting lately and then some!! We will definitely be back, time and time again.“

“jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“We celebrated our 14th Anniversary at Roma’s last night - ambiance was perfect, the other diners shared their night with us, the calamari appetizer , my Shrimp Pappardelle & Joe’s Shrimp Fra Diavolo were excellent!! “Family friendly. I had a grand daughter under the table and screaming (age4) and waitress tried to get on the floor and comfort her. Owner,John, came out to talk with us and tried to talk to her as he usually did (we went regularly so he knew her). I apologized and he calmly said no problem, he stayed calm. I said there were other customers and he said well they can leave. We have pizza Fridays so we get pizza there every Friday and other dishes at times. I can personally say the vodka sauce is excellent. Husband loves the meatball grinders.“

“We visited Walker Road Vineyards today after seeing the sign while driving through the countryside and we cannot recommend it enough. The scenery was beautiful. The barn gave it a rustic feel and the wine was delicious. My husband and I had the rose and it was superb. Also the owners were incredibly kind and took the time to talk to us about the history of the vineyard and they walked around talking to other people too. What really made it special was them taking the time to talk to my kids and make them feel important! Let’s keep small businesses like this alive. We will definitely be going back in the future!“

We googled Thai in our area & this is literally down the road from us. We got the Thai sampler platter, the spicy noodles with chicken and a mango sticky rice. 10/10.
